I ordered a vinyl from Norman Records and within 5 days it was at my door step. It arrived in perfect condition

Used for vinyl records Christmas presents and a faultless service, all records checked and packaged perfectly, great value and would highly recommend.

First time I've bought from Norman's records. Found them after an online search for vinyl record stores. Wanted several LP's which I was not familiar with for my son and daughter-in-law. Help and communication from staff absolutely second to none and at this very busy time for them. Answered all my many queries quickly and without hesitation (and there were many queries from me!). Goods supplied quickly (even two they had to order in for me), arrived excellently packaged. Cannot thank them enough for all their help and will shop with them in the future without hesitation. Very, very highly recommended. Thank you to all staff at Norman's records.

I’ve been buying from Norman Records for almost 2 years now after a google search revealed that they had a rare find I was after, still at normal retail price too. Since then, it’s been my go to online record store and I have ordered about 35 records from them just this year. In all that time, across all those orders, not once has there been any kind of problem. I think once there was a record that the suppliers were not able to send but the communication was clear and apologetic, and the balance on my order was easily transferred to another record, or could have been refunded if I’d preferred. The £50 free shipping threshold is very acceptable and means you can get free shipping with purchasing only a few records, and the ability to have records on hold while you add to an order is effortless. As someone with a sales/retail background and now as a web developer for a retailer, I know it is not easy, especially in the current Covid situation, to achieve such excellent customer service throughout, so it really should be applauded. Give them a go and buy with confidence.

Fast and communicative. Ordered the same items with a large online recordstore owned by Universal Music midway through November (nearly a month ago), no items shipped still and they're dragging their feet about every aspect of it.

I've always had quick and efficient service from Norman Records, however recently made a pre-order by mistake (read: a late-night purchase I regret). I emailed them the next day, and the order was refunded almost immediately because it hadn't been processed yet. No quibble, no-nonsense, just fast and friendly service from a guy called Phil (cheers Phil!)

Promptly went and ordered two Tom Waits records from them. Will def buy more records from them in future.

I choose the store because of prices on records, shipping costs and shipping services. I've noticed that I had three (3) cancellations, all on pre-orders and on some ''rare'' releases. Unfortunately I missed all this releases. Except that no one ever contact before I decide to contact to see order progress.

Can't fault Norman Records I had a preorder which was delayed by months but came through in the end, perfect service and great comms if you have an issue.

Not happy waited for my preorder It finally shipped and when I received my vinyl, it clearly stated in the description it comes with a poster and it is also meant to come with photos with the credits on them. I didn’t have that come with mine, which is very odd because on YouTube it shows everything the vinyl is meant to come with...and I am very upset about it I have contacted them and have had no reply I am very upset

I think Norman records is one of the best companies I've used to buy vinyl records. They give regular updates on orders, which I find really useful, and everything I've received has been perfect. In my most recent purchase I had pre-ordered a vinyl album that had the release date delayed. The email I received was open and honest in that they didn't know when it would be available, and they offered me an apology and a refund if I didn't want to wait (we should remember that a delayed album release isn't their fault!). As it happens I took the refund option which was done very quickly. Really great communication and customer service every time I have used them. Very happy to, recommend. If I could improve anything, and this would be really nitpicking, I would love email recommendations based on my music preferences rather than the generic new releases type email...although those have resulted in me buying music that I wouldn't have bought otherwise

Just got my vinyl record cleaning kit, 3 days sooner than expected. The kit itself is a thing of Beauty! - Think iphone packaging! Great job team Norman Records!

I chose to place my first order with Norman Records, when looking at the recent limited edition Halloween soundtrack releases on vinyl for the 40th Anniversary of the original movie.

Although there was an issue with stock from the supplier, which was absolutely no fault of Norman Records, they did keep me updated along the way.

Once stock was received and shipped, the care and attention given to the vinyl and the delicate outer box for the set was simply amazing. It was like they care about the vinyl just as much as I do.

I also felt like I was treated like a valued individual when I received replies to emails, instead of the standard 'copy and paste' type emails that most companies tend to send now-a-days.

To top things off, they also took responsibility for another unfortunate issue - which I expect many other retailers have kept quiet about....

An item I ordered along with these was found to be faulty by the label that released it. Before I saw the details of this error on the internet, I had received an email from Norman records informing me of the issue and asking my permission to forward my information to the label to ensure that I'm sent a replacement as soon as it is re-pressed.

So thank you to everyone at Norman Records. This was such a wonderful experience, a revelation in many ways, compared to some of the situations I've had with other retailers.

I just wish there was a way to open the eyes, ears and minds of those that fail so badly at the little things which make a huge difference to the end result.

Regular user of Norman Records. Good range of music to choose from, always deliver quickly, packaging is always excellent and, whenever I've contacted them, they've been friendly and helpful.
