Alex did a tremendous job for us

Alex did a tremendous job for us. He identified the problem immediately and even went to FaceTime on his personal phone so he could look at the device and tell us what we needed to do. Alex thank you for helping me with…

Alex thank you for helping me with orcam my eye. The battery life and response time having proved quite well after the upgrade you provide me with. I'm not quite sure yet if I'm slightly disappointed. As of now it seems like a device needs a router for the magnifier to work even though the device is tethered to a a laptop. Is there any software I can purchase which allows me to use the magnification outside internet access. And again thank you for your help.

Alex at Orcam support contacted me by phone on the day he arranged to, he talked me through getting the Orcam My eye 3 Pro connected and working with the Orcam app. He was very professional, friendly and most of all patient and understanding of people with visibility issues. Alex is a credit and an asset to Orcam. The company responded to my request for help very quickly.

My experience with OrCam

My experience with OrCam, the company, the product and its personnel.
The OrCam Company has been easy to work with, and seems customer compliant in both its purchase and return policies. I've also enjoyed learning to use the OrCam My Eye which is exceedingly innovative. I am personally sorry to have to return it because it seems to fulfill many of my low vision challenges. I want to especially commend my "Customer Success consultant Julia Mansur Rodrigues. Julia's product knowledge is superb, her patience with me as a 91 year old customer was outstanding, which made my whole experience with my OrCam device a very pleasant experience. She was also extremely gracious when I told her of my decision to return the device.

Now, to the reason for the return: I'm not only visually challenged, but I am also hearing challenged. My hearing loss is "Severe to Profound." The OrCam company's devices are only compatible with two brands of hearing aids. I use one of these brands called "Phonak." Unfortunately the only model of Phonak device compatible with OrCam is obsolete! So, I would have to use the OrCam My Eye device in a way that would broadcast what it is reading to me to the whole room. That is unacceptable. When I complained the company's retort was that it's very expensive to make their device compatible with many hearing aid brands.

I would submit that a preponderant number of visually challenged individuals are older and audio-logically challenged as well. I would further submit that OrCam is short-sighted by making their device so limited in the number of hearing aids with which it is compatible. I'm certainly a return customer as soon as Phonak hearing aids become OrCam compatible.

ExcellentI have never experienced such great…

I have never experienced such great service as I have with Sara Katz Orcam. She was not pushy in the least. She was just helpful. She was not too wordy. She just got right to the point. She was so incredibly helpful. I’d like to give her 10 stars out of five she must be a southern, the way she acts but who knows maybe a Midwestern .

Fantastic product and customer support

Orcam Myeye is a fantastic product with wonderful customer support. Shortly after my issue was submitted I received a long distance call from Max and he worked with me as long as it took until my problem was resolved.

Hey, orCam, Great job, great product!

When I received my product, which is the my eye pro two, I was a little leery because I’ve never used anything like it. But then I started to learn how to use it. I joined their Facebook group. And met with a trainer one on one virtually. This instructor, not only was patient and kind. But gave me some scenarios that I could try with my product. She was understanding. And one of the best instructors that I have had for any adaptive technology product. I’ve had to talk with customer service a couple of times, and every time I have talked with them, they have not only been very approachable, but they responded and a very Acceptable timeframe. They listen to what I had to say. And they solved my issue. I have been able to reach out to this company for help with the product and received nothing but patience and professionalism. I think that if anyone were to buy one of their products, they can’t go wrong with this company and the different products such as the read, the my eye pro two or my pro three all of the staff are wonderful.
