The crew was great. They were on time and worked diligently to finish the packing, although they needed an additional two hours. At the end, I saw that they had 10 unused paper pads remaining, but I was charged for all 30 pads on the final bill. I contacted the billing department about the discrepancy between the final bill and the actual amount that should have been charged, but I never received a response.

Overall, the packing, loading and unloading went well it was worth the cost and coordination headaches (aligning PODS and the teams). There some superlatives and some disappointments.

We had three events-two packing and loading and one unloading.

Positives
Danielle, our booking agent was superlative: attentive, reliable (always returned calls), had excellent communication skills. She is the reason we used Pack and Load.

The option to estimate the number of boxes with refund of unused ones was a selling point. We did receive a sizable refund-nice bonus.

The central team did connect with us before and during the events.

Negatives
The teams contracted did not seem to match those proposed.
Some of the teams were notified only the day before the events.
Central team had difficulty communicating with the teams on the day of the events.
Third team, through no fault of their own, was delayed due to the prior job running over time and Boston traffic on a Friday afternoon. They arrived four hours later than promised. The central team was unable to connect with the team to update their ETA. We did get a hold of them central team did promise to reschedule replacement team.

We unloaded 95% of one moving pod.

Team one was excellent with their packing. Team two was less so with glassware breakage and unprotected chair upholstery becoming stained. Team three was careful in unloading our large items.

The guys came on time they were professional and did an excellent job packing our belongings safely as to not be damaged during transit. I would recommend them highly!

The three men crew were very professional. They worked diligently without complaint. They took care and wrapped every piece of furniture. I have a lot of heavy furniture too. They were able to load my pods like a perfect fitting jigsaw puzzle. I hope they are the ones picked to unload my furniture in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this company!

The lead packer, Ty, and the other two packers, have been diligent, hard working, polite, and professional in their work. They have steadily kept moving forward to do what is difficult and meticulous work, they ask questions if necessary, but otherwise do their job quite well. I would welcome them working all of the days we need people, and they will return on Friday when they are available, which is great.

We had such great crew with Jody and his team. They were very knowledgeable, flexible and professional. It made the process very easy and would love to use them again.

First I just wanted to say that there were 3 packers. Two of them were there to get the job done. They were professional and quick. The younger guy, I can tell he was a rookie, however it seems like he was slowing everyone down and to be honest, he was not gentle and was very slow. The one thing I did not like, was that NO ONE reported that they destroyed the edge of the entryway wall. You can clearly see that their dolly or something heavy hit it. I have sent a claim and so far, so none has reached out to me.

The 3 gentlemen that loaded my POD unit came on time, introduced themselves and completed the job efficiently and took great care in doing so. The Pack and Load Company called a couple of times during the process to make sure things were going smoothly, which they were. I am happy with the entire front end experience and feel less nervous about how things will go when my possessions arrive in my new home in a couple of months.

They were quite late and seemed to milk the time. They broke items and were pretty careless. Bad company. Go elsewhere. Notice all the four star reviews yet so many one star reviews. Odd, huh?

The guys knew their business. They were "on time" and got the job done in the agreed-upon time.

This service was great! It was easy to plan and organize the date and time for both packing and unloading. More than this though the young men that helped pack and unload were amazing and so helpful. I appreciate how polite they were, hard working, thoughtful about how they approached the work etc. They were really great young men and helped relieve a stressful time. Thank you so much

They were very accomodating when I had to move dates because scheduling issues with PODS.

The pickup movers in NY were ok.

The dropoff movers in SC were terrible. They left trash around the POD container.

They got there around 2 PM, I guess they anticipated moving everything into the apartment and then leaving.

I let them know there were several items that needed to be assembled. I was met with attitude, "I have another job to go to". Constantly complaining the entire time, myself and my Dad were even helping them put the futon together.

The crews arrived near the start of the "window" and knocked it out quickly and efficiently. Extremely courteous and the kept the place clean. Great job!

Our three Packers were on time, courteous, and hard working. They packed our 16 foot and 8 foot PODS efficiently with the exception of two details. The first being they loaded boxes in the 16 foot container followed by large pieces of furniture that were too big for the 8 footer. This resulted in lost time as the boxes and furniture in the 16 footer had to be reorganized to fit. Even with that, the furniture was too close to the sliding door which resulted in slight damage to an antique hutch upon opening and unloading, as well as to a framed wooden mirror that sits on our dresser. I believe this could have been avoided if the furniture was packed first and the additional space in the 8 footer was better utilized. Thankfully, the damages mentioned were minor in the big scheme of things and nothing was broken. The online account management made it super easy to adjust services and keep track of schedules. Overall, we were satisfied with the experience.

We used Pack & Load at the recommendation of PODS. The crews on both ends of our move were on time and courteous, but the load-in crews didn't do what they were supposed to to protect our things and load the PODS correctly. We provided straps and bungees that weren't used at all. They did not bring additional rope as promised. They did not protect all of our wooden and glass furniture with cling wrap. They did not load the PODs well, which we discovered when they were unloaded - the loaders stacked heavy boxes on top of lighter boxes, and in general didn't seem to know how to load the PODs correctly, which is why we hired them! I give Pack & Load 3 stars because the unload teams were great - no complaints there. I wish it had been a better experience on the front end.
