PLDT sells security cameras that not even their own technicians can connect to their router. Their internet service experiences daily outages. Avoid this company if possible.
Bad company

Downtimes happen all the time, while fixes take FOREVER. They act with 0 URGENCY WHATSOEVER. NEVER EVER CHOOSE PLDT.

WORST AREA SUPPORT

Sluggish Technician
PLDT hotline services said that the technician that would fix our internet cable will arrive within 24 hours, yet it has been 2 days and we have recieved no call from technician.
More than 2 weeks of no internet
We have been without internet service since June 11, 2026. A repair ticket (No. 00009939976) was initially logged on June 11, but it was eventually closed without any resolution. Another repair ticket was created on June 20, 2026, yet as of this writing, no technician has arrived to inspect or repair our connection.
Today, I received a text message from a number claiming to be from the PLDT Fiber Repair team, asking if we were available for a visit. I immediately confirmed that we were available and even reiterated that the LOS signal issue has been present since June 11. However, despite this exchange, no technician arrived and there has been no further update.
It has been almost two weeks without internet service, which has caused significant inconvenience to our household. We have spent considerable time following up through PLDT Home Support, Messenger, and text messages, only to receive repeated assurances but no actual resolution. The constant exchange of messages without any concrete action has been frustrating and a complete waste of our time.
The worst scamming company ever
The worst scamming company ever! Customer services do not know how to answer questions, they cutt you off if they can not answer, they have no managers or supervisors to connect you with!! Yet they still take my money each month for a service I do not have! Be warned stay away from this scamming company!

They always make the client wait, fully paid or not, very slow all tech and installer survey lineman moving like a turtle, Rescheduling appointment without consulting client wasting time waiting, slow in response to the call and CSR hard to reach.

I am writing this review out of extreme frustration regarding the recurring issues I have experienced with my PLDT subscription. Over the past few years, our internet connection has been faulty.
These connectivity problems have caused significant disruption to my [mention impact: e.g., work-from-home responsibilities/online classes/daily household needs]. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this through [mention channels used: e.g., the 171 hotline, the PLDT Cares Facebook page, or reports via the app], I have yet to receive a lasting solution.
It's not worth it to keep any subscription with them.

LOS gets a minimum of 2 days of no connection. Calling customer service is useless as it does not change anything regarding the service they will provide. Still you cannot do anything but wait til they "fix" the issue. Bad service overall!!!
Misleading Cignal Plan Channel Lineup

I hope this review reaches your management team and stakeholders.
I have been a loyal PLDT customer for years and have never missed a payment. I currently maintain both a postpaid fiber plan and a prepaid modem as a backup. In fact, I recently decided to upgrade my subscription, but unfortunately, the service I received was extremely disappointing.
For context, I upgraded to a Fiber Unli Plan that includes a free Cignal subscription. According to the channel lineup published on your website, all listed channels appeared to be included in my plan. However, no one informed me that the NBA TV Philippines HD channel under the Ala Carte section was not actually included and would require an additional ₱200 monthly fee to continue receiving it.
To make matters worse, the channel initially worked for a short period of time before suddenly becoming unavailable. When I contacted customer support, your representative even confirmed that the channel was included in my plan and proceeded to file a repair ticket.
What happened next was even more frustrating.
No one bothered to notify me via text message, phone call, or email that the ticket had already been closed less than 24 hours after it was created.
Since I never received any update, I tried reaching out through PLDT Cares. Unfortunately, the chatbot was unable to understand even the most basic keywords related to my concern, making the experience even more frustrating.
I eventually called again and, fortunately, reached an agent who clearly explained the situation. She informed me that the Ala Carte section was only a temporary trial and that my ticket had already been closed. Once again, I only learned this because I called back myself, not because PLDT proactively provided any update.
Your published channel lineup is misleading. If certain channels are only available as part of a temporary trial, that information should be clearly disclosed from the beginning. Customers should not have to discover this only after a service interruption occurs.
This entire experience has made me question whether I should continue doing business with PLDT. Despite the inconvenience, the misinformation, the lack of communication, and the time I spent following up on my own concern, no one even considered offering any form of compensation or goodwill gesture.
Not a single person.

honestly why?, this company is still a multi million dollar company and still one of the limited accessible wifi provider in the Philippines, but the lack of performance they serve the users is concerning, I have been using this brand for 5+ years and still, I can say is its performance is decreasing overtime, the amount of time they can fix a problem will take days, sometimes weeks, the way they hande the customer service?, I can say that its not professional because they have been using a text over and over again like its a fixed prompt from their service which makes them not that approachable and lack of comfort in services. I think this company should focus on their performance, many people in my country used and PAY using their hard own money for just a minimum performance that this provider give the users. Honestly, I think they have been doing this for almost years now and still not fixing common problems like they just not doing all in on their performance in terms of fixing and upgrading the speed/connectivity.
I now prefer a different brand even though this brand is one of the easiest to get but still a waste of hard owned money.
Always LOS and unreliable
Always LOS and unreliable, technicians have no acountability, different technician coming to troubleshoot, always testing and tracing still cannot address the issue. As alibi they have no cable to replace the damage fiber cable and they will promise to endorse their findings at their office. Some technician will misscall pretending they have called and tell their office no one answer the call, immediately try to text and call but doesnt reply or answer. Almost a month we have no internet and every one or 2 months always offline since last year., Now I can't follow up at 171 it answerI entered a non existing account, someone change my calling number i think so that the sysytem will not recognized my cp number. Very stressfull subscribing to PLDT. Recommendation PLDT should focus and penalize the contractors accountable on repairs. Rebate also a problem for non landline subscribers.

It's so bad, we even have a freakin update and it's still weak as hell, so low quality, I hate it. I wish this company to get SHUTDOWN, it's ragabating me.
Terrible After Sales Service
We availed of PLDT WiFi for our study hub business, where a stable internet connection is very critical to our daily operations.
At the beginning, our assigned Relationship Manager was very responsive, enthusiastic, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the experience changed when we encountered a problem with our connection two months later.
Our WiFi service has now been down for almost a month, and despite several follow-up emails and messages, we have not received the level of support and urgency we expected. Our Relationship Manager and customer service team have become unresponsive, leaving us without a clear resolution or timeline.
It is disappointing, especially for a business customer that relies heavily on internet connectivity. We hope PLDT can improve its after-sales support and give the same level of attention to existing customers as they do when acquiring new ones.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. One time when i was calling my friends the internet was so crappy that it lagged my computer and yes. you heard that right. it lagged my ENTIRE COMPUTER
