Not an easy access to obtain the card. Several attempts before success.

Can only use on line not physically, & only at certain retailers!!! so if don't use internet your screwed basically. What happened to the card where you could use by other means like entering card number.

I have never had a virtual credit card before so this caused me a little confusion and hence a 4 and not a 5.

Constantly got emailed and messaged asking me to activate my card but it turns out the hub has to go live and then you have to wait 14 days before you can activate. After the 14 days the link went to an error 404 message. Spent 40 mins on phone trying to get sorted. You can only use the card online or over phone, can't add to Google wallet so not ideal tbh.

I am extremely disappointed with how this issue has been handled.
I received a £170 Plusnet Reward Card and was emailed the activation code required to access the funds. On the final day of validity, I attempted to use the code, but it repeatedly failed. I generated a new code several times, but none worked. I then contacted customer services and was advised that they understood my frustration and would escalate the matter to a manager.
After being kept on hold for around 20 minutes, I was informed that no manager was available. When a manager eventually called back, I was told that the Reward Card had expired that morning and that nothing could be done.
I find this response unreasonable. I made every effort to access the funds before the card expired, but technical issues prevented me from doing so. Had the activation process worked as intended, I would have been able to use the reward. It is particularly disappointing that the funds were removed at the start of the expiry date rather than at the end of the day, leaving no opportunity to resolve the issue.
I am not seeking to escalate this matter to the Ombudsman if it can be resolved directly. However, I believe a fair and reasonable outcome would be for Plusnet to reissue the £170 Reward Card or provide an equivalent goodwill payment, given that I attempted to redeem it within the validity period and was prevented from doing so through no fault of my own.
I would appreciate a review of this decision and a gesture of goodwill that reflects Plusnet's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Waste of time, not really a reward if they randomly decide when you can or can't access your account.
Account name reminder, 3 password resets and still refuses to allow me to access my account. Learn from my mistake write down the digital card details then they can't block you from using the money as and when you want.

What waste of time, not a reward in any way. Set everything up correctly, checked by logging out and then in on the day. Now I come to use the credit and BT just keeps saying they can't find my account

I dont like the fact I only have a virtual card option, I prefer to be able to spend as and where I like online or directly in shops and there should be an option to get a physical card as per previous provider with a small charge. Also 1 year valid date should be longer at least 2 years before the card expires.

It was very difficult to obtain this card,now it has disappeared from the my bt app. AndI have not used it yey!! I also had to open an account with username and password,which I will never use again!
