Great for taking bookings, useless when advocacy is needed
Having booked multiple luxury voyages through Six Star Cruises, we expected genuine client representation when our recent Scenic Danube cruise devolved into a stranded, three-night stationary stay in Passau.
Instead of acting as a specialist luxury concierge, Six Star functioned purely as a passive post office. Throughout the entire ordeal, their customer relations team simply forwarded canned responses back and forth between us and the cruise line.
When challenged on why their commercial account managers did not intervene with Scenic on behalf of repeat, high-spending clients, they hid behind legal technicalities and ABTA fine print. There was zero active advocacy, zero attempt to leverage their commercial relationship with Scenic, and zero support when things went wrong.
Selling luxury cruises to willing clients is easy. Demonstrating value as an agent requires standing up for customers when a supplier fails. Six Star completely abandoned that duty of care. As a direct result, we have taken our future business elsewhere.

Second cruise booked and won't be the last
This is the second cruise we have booked with Cruise 118/RiverVoyages. The river cruise with AMA Waterways was very good. The booking experience was great, although a couple of things were a little confusing, but were ironed out. One was with tipping. I hadn't realised our booking included tips, so we had a nice surprise and didn't have to include them when on the cruise. It could have been clearer. But a small matter. I would use them again for sure. Thank you very much.

Fantastic Rebecca at Six Star Cruises
We have been booking cruises through Six Star and the wonderful Rebecca Rimmer for a few years now, and have just booked a long one for next week sailing with Regent. Rebecca is absolutely fantastic.
