The airport transfer service used by sunweb is dangerous and does not meet passenger safety standards. There were not enough seats in the Taxi bus for the number of passengers on the transfer. We were asked to squeeze 17 passengers into 16 seats. When we refused due to safety standards and lack of seatbelts, the driver refused to take us to the airport until we all complied and he actually tried to man-handle people out of seats. Passengers eventually relented in order to get their flights.
During the journey, the driver proceeded to drive at excessively dangerous speeds and recklessly overtook other vehicles on blind bends - a huge disregard shown for the number of passengers now without seatbelts. It was literally terrifying!
We were also picked up over 7hrs before our flight time meaning we had a lovely 5hr wait at the airport before our flight. - I was told this was because they wanted to collect us with a group on an earlier flight - always good to see company profits prioritised before customer safety and satisfaction!
You couldn't pay me to take another airport transfer through this company.

Unfortunately only 2 starts as company cant be bothered to reply to customer complaints which suggest they dont really care about customer experience and opinion. Disappointing
Also please make sure you check the cancellation details before booking..
After received poor reply from customer aftercare I have reduced my review to 1 star!
I recommend you to book with the company that takes accountability for poor service rather than blame everything else!!

Dont book with the company! Hotel states the room is for 4 people. Sunweb booked 5 of us into this tiny room even though the hotel has told them its not suitable! We had suitcases in walkways and on the balcony and still couldnt move. No help from customer service at all. Checked out straight away and found our own accommodation. Wont offer any refund for the room we couldnt stay in and i have paid for the other room myself!

We bought a ski holiday through Sunweb. The accommodation condition was terrible when we walked in. It's supposed to be 4 star standards. The apartment smelled really badly, the bath plug is broken ( we need to put our foot on it to stop the water leaking), the quilt was stained, and 2 sofas were stained too, see photos. Although they changed the quilt for us, the smell, broken bath and stained sofa we had to put up for the whole week. We did not want to stay in the apartment long, so skied a lot, and tried to stay in there reception siting area, but when one day it snowed whole day, we were kicked out as the reception was closed, and we were not allowed to stay in the sitting area. So we had to stay in the filthy apartment. We used a pillow case to cover the sofa, so we could sit on it as it's disgusting .
We paid for the jacuzzi advertised, but it was closed the whole week. No mentioning on arrival.
The last night stay was even worse. We went back to the apartment after dinner, just to find out 3 strange men ripping off the kitchen kickboard, no 'sorry', just been told there was a leak downstairs, they need to find out where the leak was. While we understood emergency happens, surely the hotel staff should have called us to inform us this in advance. That was our private space we paid for. In the end, we were told we should not be using the shower, nor the bath. Not until I asked we needed a shower after a whole day skiing! they then opened the next apartment for us to use the shower. This was the accommodation we paid for, not a residence who owned the place, even though they could be more polite!
I wrote the above to Sunweb after we left the accommodation, they replied to say the accommodation does not fall below the 4 star level, so no compensation can be issued.
So the hotel, and Subweb both admitted their 4 stars standards are: stained sofas, quilt, broken bath, no jacuzzi service as advertised, smelly apartment, entering the private space without advanced notice, being told we could not use the shower/bath we paid for, rudeness.
Food: We paid for half board, while the breakfast was ok, the dinner is set 3 courses menu, but you do not have a choice. If you don't like chicken, then tough. Although they did change the man course for my son. Luckily, we were happy with the 3 course set menu, but not the Italian night, sloppy pizza and sloppy lasagne.
P.s. Yes Subweb looked into my complaint, they just agreed with the hotel filthy sofas, and broken bath, smelly apartment are 4 stars standards. Please be careful what you see on their website, if a 4 star rating hotel, you likely get what we had. After we mentioned our apartment condition to the hotel staff, they never resolved all the issues, but Subweb did not want to acknowledge what we experienced! Simply told me that the hotel looked into the issues! But the bath was broken the whole week, sofas were filthy the whole week, no jacuzzi I paid for!

Sunweb is pretty good, though a bit complex- I understand why. But the hotel Le Centaur in Flaine was poor, though really nice staff. Sunweb didn't make clear the hammam and sauna were also off limits to those who didn't have the 'approved' swimwear- they only mentioned the pool. I had 'real' swimwear but not 'appropriate'. How silly.
Also, the two-bedroom apts. have deadly steep stairs- kids beware!! I kid you not- no proper handrail, tiled with sharp edges, narrow as it curves down, or up perhaps on different floors. One fall and it's all over.
And then the tv was not 'smart', had no access to useful services, just rubbish French tat. What a pity.
And the 'cooking' facilities are the usual rubbish- incomprehensible dial hieroglyphics, no instructions, poor induction hobs. Rubbish. Can't do more than the most basic, and good luck with that! Garbage disposal was very poor as well. And it wasn't exactly 'ski-in, ski-out'. More like 'walk-in, walk-out' despite plenty of snow.

Hotel Corbier, great location accessible via the Torture run. There is a small decent bar serving variety of beers and cocktails which also has a fussball and pool table.
The apartment was great with good views of the slopes.

I had a really great experience using sun web. It was incredibly easy to use, with a clear layout that made finding and comparing options simple. There was a wide range of choices available, and I really liked being able to add extras and customise my booking to suit my needs.
The deals on offer were excellent, which made the whole process feel even more worthwhile. Overall, everything was straightforward and stress-free to organise. I’d definitely use this site again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free way to book a holiday.

We booked last minute so coukd not book transfer from airport as less than a week till we departed so had to make own arrangements which were easy enough as booked a train online but the taxi from train station was extortionate as we had no alternative and probably cost as much as the whole transfer from Geneva would have cost if arranged through Sunweb so would not book last minute again !
The only other thing was we had to pay for helmets when we thought we had hired all ski equipment which again was extortionate. So definitely some disadvantages of booking last minute as no rep at hotel and we missed our ski lessons a the next day as did not know where to go for equipment or ski lessons! However, everything else spot on & we were really happy with ski location & hotel so had a great week

We booked a budget HB ski hotel in Le Plagne. It was easy to book for just 6 days and was clean and simple, nothing special. Great location, and although food quality was variable, overall it was a good value, great value ski base.

I honestly don’t know where to start. We booked with Sunweb who are amazing and we stayed at Hotel Alpenhof in flachau the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It couldn’t have been any better, it was faultless. The spa facilities, the hotel rooms, the swimming pools, in fact the whole wellness area, everything.
The food is great too.
What’s even better and I didn’t think anything could have been better at this incredible hotel, is all the staff apart from 1 member, we found utterly amazing, I just want to give a massive thank you to all the staff who are fantastic but especially Miha and Petra and another really nice lady but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. I want to say you are very lucky to have them as your staff, utterly amazing, they went above and beyond and was so nice, welcoming and helpful in everything we asked, in fact absolutely incredible. 5 🌟.
We will be back, trust me. Don’t hesitate if you’re going to Flachau, book this incredible amazing hotel. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and fantastic, I will never forget this amazing holiday.
