The delivery was on time

The delivery was on time, and they let us know when they were approximately 30 minutes away. They were friendly and setup our new malibu loungers and repaired the wheels on previously purchased malibu loungers.

We had a horrible experience with very…

We had a horrible experience with very delayed delivery of our order. If we knew it would take this long, we would have never placed the order which we intended to get for a very special event at our home. Although we communicated very clearly with Teakwood Warehouse, the customer service has been horrible. It took a long time to get any response, and now that our order has been sitting in storage for a week they are not responding at all. We have paid so much money for the shipment of this order for nothing. They are using some company that only has one truck to make the many deliveries they’re processing. What a rip off!! Until today we still have not gotten our furniture delivered. It’s been so frustrating dealing with them, they’re unprofessional and I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I am so sorry to hear about this, and sincerely apologize that your order did not arrive in time for your special event. Looking further into this order, I see that you had custom cushions being made for your chairs and sofa. As noted on our website and your order confirmation, custom cushion production takes approx. 4 weeks. At the time you placed the order, our team was not aware that you had a deadline you needed the order by, but as soon as we were made aware, I personally made sure that our upholsterer knew that your cushions needed to be completed as soon as possible. They were able to have the cushions completed a week early, which was the absolute soonest they could have them ready at the time, and your order shipped from our warehouse a couple days later.
I also personally communicated with the carrier after they picked your order up from our warehouse, and let them know that delivery by your requested day was of the utmost importance. Even though we do everything we can to ensure delivery by specific dates/timeframes, it may not be possible to achieve delivery by an exact date in some cases. Unfortunately, in this case, the carrier could not make delivery by the date you needed possible, but I assure you, our team tried our very best for you.
In the future, if you ever need your order by a specific date, we suggest reaching out to our Customer Service team immediately after purchasing so we can take steps right away to try accommodate this for you.

Again, I am very sorry we could not get your order to you in time, but we hope that at the very least you have been able to enjoy your teak items.

Beware of Defects & Warranty

Ordered 17 furniture items, a cantilever umbrella with stand, and protective covers (~$19K). Seven minutes after our delivery crew departed, we noticed the main table support was cracked, at a construction glue joint (likely not reinforced sufficiently) and that one dining chair leg was scratched. We reached out to our sales rep immediately, who said she'd get it handled. We then heard from the Customer Service Manager (CSM) who said that we should have rejected the delivery because their policy states if the item isn't rejected at delivery, it won't be replaced. She agreed to waive that policy one time, but said we'd have to pay a $400 shipping fee for a replacement.

We responded to say we didn't feel that was right, as it was our first purchase from TW, the delivery was delayed, and the delivery team did not instruct us to inspect before signing. We then received another response from TW's CSM restating their delivery rejection policy and agreeing to discount the shipping fee to $200, but that would be their final concession. Even though TW offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects, apparently if you don't notice the manufacturing defect immediately, it doesn't apply?

10/21/25 UPDATE: After leaving our initial review, we received another email from TW's CSM offering to waive 100% of the replacement shipping fee if we update our review to accurately reflect what transpired and the discounted shipping fee offer. To be clear, we were first told we had to pay a $399 replacement shipping fee, then that the fee would be discounted to $199.50, and then a $0 shipping fee if we update our review.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. As noted on your order invoice, all orders must be thoroughly inspected at the time of delivery. Any damaged/defective items must be immediately sent back with the carrier at that time; damaged/defective items not rejected with the carrier will be ineligible for replacement. There was an item that you stated arrived damaged, but was not rejected at the time of delivery. I can see that we offered to replace this item free of charge as a courtesy, but unfortunately, we would not be responsible for the shipping to deliver it to you. You had declined this offer immediately, so as a further courtesy extension, we offered to cover 50% of the shipping for you, to which you declined as well.
Your overall shopping experience & feedback is valuable to us, and we do not like to hear of anything that leaves you feeling unhappy with your purchase, so as a final good gesture for your business with us, we offered to replace the item free of charge, and cover the shipping costs entirely as well. We hope that this gesture has restored your experience with us, and we also hope you have been able to enjoy your beautiful teak items!

TW stood behind its products when I was…

TW stood behind its products when I was experiencing difficulties with wear. They replaced 4 teak chaises which had been redesigned to insure the slings were well anchored. Delivery was as planned and the chaises were unpacked and placed around my deck perfectly.
