If I could give them no stars, I would. The flowers did not arrive for the funeral service, and I was given the runaround when requesting a refund. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a floral company. In my 25 years of ordering flowers, I have never had to worry about the flowers arriving on time. DO NOT order anything from them. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general. It's a rip-off scam!

Terrible experience from taking the order to "delivery". Besides having to repeat myself several times during the order process, they could not deliver same day but set the expectation for delivery the following morning (24 hours later.) By the time they delivered the flowers - 30 hours later - the recipient was discharged from the hospital. No email that "delivery" was even made. Forget trying to call customer service. You speak with MaryJane, Joy or Bernadette who are in another country. They are only out for your money. Stay away from this "florist"!

They charged me for an order they couldn't fill and have not refunded my money.

I can't leave a zero. Terrible quality that was nothing like advertised. Delivery was 3 days late and the arrangement was already in poor shape. DONOT USE THESE CROOKS!

I could take time to provide details of my experience but it would be redundant. Every review I read here is my story in one way or another. I suspect that Roses by Ruth is a related scam business because I experienced the same issues with them…lying, supply issues, canceled order. I’d hoped Terrys would be different. With Terry’s a bouquet was actually delivered but it was absolutely nothing like the image of what I ordered and it was pathetic…about 1/3 of the flowers shown in the arrangement I paid for and in no way was done by a professional florist. Obviously I should have done research on the company before placing my order. I hope the reviews on this site will prevent others from falling for this scam.

SCAMMERS! BUYER BEWARE! Ordered florwer’s for my sisters funeral. NEVER arrived! Then ordered from their sister company Nora’s Flowers; never arrived. They should be ashamed of themselves! Disgusted with this company. It was a complete disrespect and embarrassment for my family.

ALWAYS check reviews before ordering! That the lesson I learned after ordering from this “business”. Ordered birthday bouquet for a friend (the expensive upgrade) and what was delivered looked like a gas station bouquet for $5.99! I was so angry and embarrassed. In the end I did get a refund but what a freaking hassle!!

I ordered the Heartfelt Condolences arrangement for a funeral from the Terry’s Florist website website on 8/28. When the flowers were delivered I was shocked and embarrassed. The arrangement delivered looked nothing like the “premium” arrangement I ordered and paid extra for. When I sent an email to their customer service asking for a phone call to reach a resolution for this problem they sent me an email. They apologized and said they were processing a $25 refund for me. They said this was to make things right. I definitely did not agree that this “made things right.” The flowers were for a funeral and the arrangement was not the size or quality that I paid for. At best, it was half what I paid for.
Terry’s Florist is not a reputable or trustworthy business. I definitely do not want anybody to experience the poor product or poor customer service that they offer. Definitely choose another florist!!

After reading all these 1 stars we were worried about our purchase as we made the decision quickly and only did some DD afterwards. But the service was delivered exactly as described and on time. So no this is not a scam. We are happy with the purchase, our family is happy. Maybe a little pricey but the flowers turned out beautiful. Would recommend.

Want to send flowers to your aunt as she mourns the death of her husband? Oh, but you would rather get scammed by a faceless, overseas company that preys on good faith and grief, wouldn't you? Well, that's what they thought about us, evidently.

I ordered birthday flowers for my wife from this shop, expecting a simple, timely delivery. Instead, they canceled my order without any notice—no email, no call, nothing. I only realized something was wrong late Saturday, when it was too late to make other arrangements.
Thanks to their complete lack of communication and responsibility, I was left scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for time-sensitive occasions.
If you care about reliability or customer service, look elsewhere. I won’t be using them again—and I suggest you don’t either.

Another reminder to do your research! Such a scam! Spoke with them three times to place an order for a sympathy arrangement for a colleague who passed away tragically and suddenly. When I was finally was able to actually place an order - within 5 minutes, I received an email that the arrangement was unavailable. Called again and was told they have no flowers available. What kind of a florist has no flowers available????? Found another, hopefully reputable florist in the area. Fingers crossed. But whatever you do - don't even bother with his outfit.

Ordered $130 floral arrangement for Mother’s Day. This was on the Thursday prior to Mother’s Day. Friday afternoon I received an email stating my order was cancelled due to lack of supplies. They were kind enough to charge my CV for the order. I waited a week for a credit, then emailed them. They stated it would take 3-5 business days (it had already been 5 business days). Emailed again, waited 3 more days. Emailed 3 days after that before they finally processed my credit for a charge that never should have initiated. Stay away from this business.

I'd give a 0-star if I could. I ordered flowers for my mom for mothers day (I live out of state). Instead of calling hours later to say they didn't have the flowers, or instead of substituting for a different arrangement as their website states they will do if unavailable, they refunded my money and sent an email that went to the spam folder. All their other emails came through just fine. Here it is Monday and only after calling them did I find out about the refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TERRY'S FLORIST FOR ANYTHING!!!

THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM !! Falsely advertised as local flower shop. Even showed a picture of “Terry” with some bogus write up about a family owned business for over 25 years. Ordered an arrangement for a special event that was never delivered!! I called them three times to see where the flowers were and the rep who sounded like she was from Southeast Asia lied to me saying they were out for delivery each time. She also said she was calling the local shop but they were too busy to answer any calls. All lies. She also lied and said they were based in Ft Lauderdale but could not give me their address or the address of the local florist filling the order because they “do not have a certificate of occupancy”. She wanted to argue with me when o said I’m canceling and demanding a refund. I took up the issue with my credit card company and canceled my card. Change your credit card number after making a purchase with them!! This will be reported to the Florida Attorney Generals office as a fraudulent business, engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices etc and if they don’t issue a refund, it’s also civil theft. If you google local florist “Terry’s Florist “ pops up over a dozen times in different locations. They have tons of different sites so you can’t even locate an actual brick and mortar florist locally. Very scary Seo on google.

I ordered flowers and full-sized card from Terry's Florist on April 30, 2025 online to be delivered for my daughter's birthday on May 1, 2025. Several hours later I received a text from "Ruth's Roses" saying the order could not be filled, but I would receive a full refund on 3-5 business days. It is now May 7th and not only have I not received a refund, but I am having to provide documentation to my bank of the transaction and their inability to fill my order to dispute the transaction. I have since learned that Terry's Florist is operating outside the US and is a total SCAM!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Their site shows specific arrangements with names, yet when you order one, it is NOT what you get. I googled local florists in the town I needed and Terry's Florist came up as being local. I now know that that isn't true, but the site is misleading. You select your arrangement and after you have entered your credit card info they add on an $18.99 service charge that isn't disclosed until after you've entered payment. I ordered two days ahead of delivery and requested the flowers be delivered to an office before noon as the office closes early and I wanted the recipient to have the flowers on her desk most of her birthday - delivery was confirmed and nowhere did it state that they were objecting to the delivery time. Noon on delivery day came and went with no delivery. Finally had to call Terry's only to be put on hold for extended periods (which is when I realized that they are nothing more than a broker that takes and farms out orders, because they had to keep calling the actual local florist) only to be told that the flowers would be there this evening - after the office is closed. I had to argue to get them to get the delivery made 'within 1-2 hours.' Flowers finally arrived and are NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I ordered. The recipient told me where the flowers came from so I called the floral shop that actually made the arrangement and delivered it, and it was explained to me that Terry's only gives them a brief description of the types of flowers that should be in the arrangement and a dollar amount to work with - they are not provided with an arrangement name or photo, so they don't really know what they're putting together and there is no chance it will look like what was ordered. On top of that, the dollar amount given was $30 less than the cost of the arrangement online!! So, Terry's Florists took $30 from the $69.99 that I paid, PLUS they also charged me $18.99 for a service fee, on top of what they keep from the floral shop - they made $50 off of my order for doing nothing but screwing it up!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM TERRY'S FLORISTS - go directly to the local floral shop. Terry's rips off local florists and you will not get what you order - please give your money directly to the local small business florist in the town you are ordering for.

What is wrong is that they are not located in the USA. Terry's Florist is an overseas business.
Called in an order today. Confirmed the order by email and within 30 minutes, got another email with a cancelled order due to supply issues. This is how they do business.
Wondering if they are just scammers.
The young lady also lied about the location.

Wish I had seen these reviews before I placed order and bought flowers! So disappointed, the flowers I saw and ordered were not what was delivered! I upgraded my order and what was received was totally unacceptable and not even close to the photo on ordering page! This is a bate and switch company, dishonest, poor quality and service. Will never order from them again! The flowers were few and not arranged properly, substandard quality!

I ordered flowers to be delivered the day I ordered them. They came the next day, and the bouquet looked pitiful. I could have done a much better job! Was to be free delivery BUT had to pay a service charge. I called to complain but the woman she couldn't find the order number nor could she provide a number to call to complain. I just wanted a refund for the order!!!!
