Large denominations you have been warned
The conversion rate was the best, and delivery as agreed and early in the day.
However, it was all large bills, i.e. effectively £200 notes, places will not take these! And no where will split as it is so large and no banks will help either. So you basically have all this cash you can’t spend!
Maybe there was a button I missed to select smaller denominations, but if I missed it, so did my partner who did a separate order. I think for orders of cash, especially to common holiday destinations currency for relatively small orders sub £5k smaller denominations should be the default!
Wont be using this service again as it has cost me far more on card fees then I saved on the conversion rate!

I’ve used the Currency Club many times over the years and have always been delighted with the service. Recently I ordered USD and needed small notes for taxis and tips, I forgot to tick the box but a quick email and it was all sorted. Great service

Exchange rate was the best available on the market, ordered was delivered on time as promised. After placing the order I made a request for specific denomination by email, I received a prompt response, my request was fulfilled.

We can see that “No Preference” was selected when the order was placed, which means the denominations are allocated based on availability. However, we completely understand that €100 notes may not be convenient for you.
For future orders, we recommend selecting “Mixed” denominations or specifying your preferred notes, and we will always do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

This was my 3rd time placing an order with the currency club . I personally wouldn't use any one else now . All 3 times they have done everything they said they would do . Confirmation of my order came through very quickly ,followed by a teatime email the night before dispatch. This email gives you your Royal mail 24 hr tracking details . This is a superb service ,everything runs very smoothly . You can even request how you would like your notes , like small notes large or mixed notes . Every time they have honoured my request for which notes I would like . Keep up the good work and don't change ,because for me you are doing everything right .Thank you ☺️
