Excellent service, used Currency Club on several occasions before, no doubt would go to them again, Next day Special Delivery or you can choose delivery date. Good competitive rates with free delivery. Can also choose domination of notes, From small to mix which is very handy. Everything transparent from the point of order to delivery. Highly recommended to purchase currency. 👌

My new way to order currency
My first time using The Currency Club - quick and easy to order. Please note that there is a £300 minimum order but this worked fine for us as we are going to Poland and Rhodes, so split it 50/50 between currencies. I was drawn to currency club as you have the option to choose your denominations. This was particularly important for Poland, where cost of living is relatively cheap. Most of the currency came in small denominations but one note was 200zloty. We still have it as unable to use it. We always like to take cash to work alongside a specialist card for bigger payments. Delivery service and Comms was great. Will use again.

Bad service
On 10 June, I exchanged the equivalent of $650 through The Currency Club’s online service. The currency arrived on time, but one of the $100 notes was physically damaged, cut in half and taped together with Sellotape.
I took the note to several major exchange shops in my area and also to my local bank. All refused to accept it because it was faulty. I then contacted The Currency Club. Their response was poor and only came after I had sent several emails. They initially appeared to deny responsibility, stating that the issue was not their fault.
After further correspondence, they asked me to take the damaged note to their shop in London to exchange it, despite the fact that I live in Manchester. After more emails, they eventually agreed that I could return the note by Special Delivery and that they would refund the equivalent amount into my bank account.
I sent the note as requested, but then heard nothing until I chased them again. They then said they would pay the equivalent of $100 into my account, but did not clarify what exchange rate would be used, or whether they would reimburse the Special Delivery cost that I had incurred because of the faulty note they supplied.
At the time of writing, this remains unresolved after 2 weeks. Based on this experience, I found the after-sales service very poor, with slow communication and no clear ownership of the problem.

Once you contacted us regarding the damaged note, we requested that the note be returned to us for review. We have since initiated a full refund for the value of the note using the original exchange rate applied at the time of purchase.

I found the process of ordering my holiday money easy
I found the process of ordering my holiday money online very easy. I'd checked my local currency shop and found the Currency Club rates far better. The currency came the following day as promised delivered via a signed for service, the only point I'd revisit when I order again would be the notes denominations. I find 50€ notes large but but manageable but 100€ notes way too big I'm more used to 5€ 10€ 20€.
I will definitely use Currency Club again.
