I rarely write reviews! However, the marquee product and, just as important, the service, we have had from UK Tents, has been outstanding. So much so that even I, a Victor Meldrew-type cynic, would like to offer future customers my feedback and unqualified recommendation. In July 2024, on behalf of our local Village Hall charity, I purchased UK Tents' 8mx12m marquee (Professional PVC 1400 Marquee UKT-PVC00812PRO) product. The pre-sales assistance from Howard was extremely helpful, proactive and professional. The price was better than all the equivalent marquees I had researched, with a free storm kit and free delivery, which was on the day promised. It's a big beast! But the instructions were clear and logical and the components well-marked both in terms of the box labels and the individual parts. Our crew of volunteers had it up within two hours and it housed our mobile stage and refreshment seating with ample headroom and floor space. The design features an interesting use of wire cables criss-crossing the roof and wall sections, providing very effective added stability for minimal weight. Almost a year later, when I needed some additional elements, I contacted Abby, their customer service manager who was extremely helpful and responsive in sorting my requirement with an impressive attention to detail. Great product. Great customer service. Five star rating on all counts from me.

I contacted uktents by telephone to request spare parts for a tent purchased from them several years back. The number was easy to find on their website. They answered the phone call very promptly and pointed me to their website where I was able to fill in a form. Abby emailed me back straight away and guided me through the process and the poles were ordered and delivered very efficiently. Five star service!!

Dan, Gary and the whole team are truly exceptional. Don’t mess about with any one else. These guys are without question a class apart, they do what they say they will do on time and with craftsman like quality… and all in the UK. No one comes close, so stop looking about and call Dan.

Needed a very large tent for wedding event, service was fantastic from Daniel who I would strongly recommend.

Absolute appalling customer service. I ordered a classic 3 x 3 gazebo with walls. The walls velco into the metal frame. When it was all put together the walls would not stay velcroed shut because of the wind. What's the point of buying walls if they just blow off. I complained to them and i was told i wasn't using it for the purpose it was intended for. I used it as shelter at a small event to provde shelter from rain etc. Apparently that's not what they are designed for and I've used it for the wrong purpose, so they couldn't help with my complaint. I mean what else would you use a gazebo for??

UPDATE Was also told by member of staff i spoke to today that it would be fine for a garden if it was up for 1 hour not 4 as you've put in reply. I didn't know that the sides would not remain attached in the wind (not bad weather as you've said) it was a typical Scottish breeze and the velcro just undone all the time and sides just flabbed about and i have video footage of this. I used it for 4 hours in a back garden of a hotel for a small event. Im sorry but i can't see the difference between that and a bbq in my own spacious garden. What a lot of nonsense that was. What a dreadful response from company that are clearly not interested in customer satisfaction. Also i paid over £200 for supposed low grade gazebo as you call it which is way more than the normal garden gazebo price.

Good service

The tent is really well made and easy to put together. I bought the storm anchoring system as an afterthought and we had issues locating it when it was delivered in our absence. It was our error in the end but throughout the back and forth with UK Tents and the delivery company, we had nothing but helpful and polite customer services, it was very appreciated.

I left our marquee out in stormy and windy weather - it ended up upside down at the bottom of the garden 24 hours before my daughter's party.

UK Tents were brilliant, I sent them the part numbers for the 7 poles that were bent or broken and they put them on an overnight courier. It's great to deal with people based in the UK who understand customer service. Most importantly, they answer the phone when you need them.

I will be checking the weather forecast more closely before putting it up in future.

The 12 by 6 marquee we purchased has been a great addition to our site.

When unfortunately our marquee got vandalised we were able to order just the panel required from their customer services department. Its handy to be able to order spare parts if needed otherwise we would have ended up looking to replace the whole marquee which would be a big job which would also be very wasteful when only one panel needed replacing.

Excellent customer service from UK Tents. We needed spares for an urgent repair and these guys were all over it the same day. Couldn’t ask for more.

Need a marquee, tent or Gazebo? Then these are the people to go to. British company selling quality products at a good price. I bought a 6m x 12m Marquee and its brilliant. Great quality, well built and just perfect for what we needed and they do spares parts and accessories!!! But what really sets these guys apart is their customer service. I have since bought storage bags, ground rails and most recently carpet ready for more family events this summer. In doing so I was helped by Abby in their parts department and Amanda in Sales. Both super helpful and knowledgeable. This company is a pleasure to deal with; you just cant go wrong.

I was very pleased with the way in which Abby dealt with my concerns and queries following delivery delays. She was quick to respond and deal with my concerns including giving me complimentary tent bags. We all make mistakes but it is how the mistakes are dealt with afterwards that makes a big difference.

Purchased a gazebo from uk tents, very good quality. Glad I listened to their advice and took it down during the recent bad weather, my neighbours’ ended up half way down the street! If you are going to look after them and use them for the purpose they are designed then they are a great structure! Would definitely purchase again. Thank you.
