We had to make a midnight visit every dog owner dreads. Veteris were fantastic from the first call right through to handing us Alfie’s ashes. All the staff showed us compassion and understanding. Their professional yet friendly and caring approach was impressive. Thank you Veteris Twickenham.

Madeleine was very helpful and she listen while we was worried. Hopefully nothing serious happened to my cat, but she was calm and probably reassuring more myself than Elon! Very happy with the service

Would highly recommend, having a vet do a home visit in an emergency reduced our cats stress when she was very poorly. Leeya was great at explaining all our options and provided the best care, our cat is now on the mend.

We have used Veteris three times for our dog who can we quite difficult. All the vets have been lovely and treated her with skill and patience.

My dachshund vomited up a chunk of rubber on a weekend morning and then continued vomiting bile. I called Veteris and was told a vet would be with me in two hours. The triage nurse on the phone was kind and very reassuring. They called again after 90 minutes to say the vet was on his way. Dr Eric arrived 15 minutes later. He was lovely and patient with my dog, took a careful history, examined him and then administered an emetic. He stayed for almost an hour, and my dog vomited up another big chunk of rubber. Dr Eric helped him (and me) stay calm, then gave him an antiemetic and provided advice to me on what to look out for over the next day or so. It wasn’t cheap (£454) but it meant I didn’t have the stress of finding an Uber Pet to take us to the nearest emergency vet and back. Within 12 hours I was sent a detailed report and itemised invoice. I’m very grateful to Dr Eric and would definitely recommend.

You helped soothe my dog and stayed for as long as needed — never rushed, and the veterinarian took her time throughout. We were very satisfied with the level of care and professionalism she provided.

I took my 12 year old whippet Ruby to the emergency service hospital in Twickenham with a nasty gash to her hind leg. She is generally very anxious around vet surgeries, so I was concerned on 2 counts. The team looked after her very sensitively, efficiently cleaning, stapling and dressing the wound. We left much happier with pain relief and antibiotics. Glad to say she seems well on the mend. Thank you.

Lovely people, came out and made sure my foster cat wasn’t having an emergency, gave him medicine which helped him feel better and me some peace of mind

I can’t praise the service of Veteris enough. I was very worried about my cat, who on Sunday night was listless, not eating or drinking (even treats) and cowering in a corner. Very obviously unwell.
After being turned away by another well known (but not well regarded) emergency vet, my phone call to Veteris was answered promptly and was very sympathetically responded to by the vet nurse.
We immediately took our cat to the clinic where vet Paul saw us straight away and couldn’t have been kinder or more thorough. He treated our boy with as much kindness as we could possibly ask for. After a though history taking and examination he found our boy to have a high temperature but no other symptoms. Paul thoroughly explained treatment options and costs, keeping in mind we don’t have insurance. We agreed on going for an injection to bring his temperature down and see how he was in the morning.
Within half an hour he had perked up considerably and demolished a lickilix!
We are still keeping a close eye on him today but it seems like the jab worked a miracle. We are so pleased we chose Veteris, where Paul treated our boy like royalty! The staff were wonderful and the clinic was very modern and up market. Vet care, especially out of hours is always expensive, but this experience felt like the best experience we could have possibly had and we expected it to cost more than it did. Couldn’t recommend Veteris more and we are incredibly grateful 🙏🏼

The team at Veteris were professional, kind and polite when our Bedlington Whippet became unwell unexpectedly one evening. We were so thankful they were available to see her at an unsociable hour and left with her doing much better and with us reassured.

Highly recommend! I had to take my cat Oberon here last night. I was really worried about him and he was acting disoriented. Not sure what was happening, I didn’t want to see him in pain and I felt that he should be assessed by a vet. I actually tried to book an emergency appointment with my vets however they did not have space and recommended Veteris. I called up and spoke to a lovely lady who took my information and had a look at the nearest animal hospital to me which was. Twickenham. She took all my details and explained the process and sent information on price etc. When I arrived I was seen quickly by a nurse who assessed Oberon and reassured me instantly and calmed him down. He was quickly seen by the vet who did an assessment and confined he just had a bad injury on his foot which was making him a bit wobbly! He was given medicine and he is now on the mend! If you google wobbly cat it can really worry you, so glad he was seen . Just wanted to say a big thank you for you kindness ! I was really worried about him and he is so healthy and rarely gets injured!. You were all so patient and calm with and me and Oberon! Very compassionate and efficient service!! Thanks again.

Made us wait for 2 hours to be seen although was told to come at specific time / initial charge was 1K pounds which is ridiculously expensive then was billed almost 1800 pounds for my cat to have blood test imaging and IV fluid overnight. Did not give me a proper diagnosis I had to guess what my cat suffers from. Did not sit down and explain the bill for me just was told to that we will get the details of the bill via email in 24 hours. When I got home my cat was extremely frail and was clearly traumatised from the experience with them. The only good thing was the nurse who saw me on the next day who was friendly and compassionate otherwise would not recommend this vet. My cat has tears in his eyes still and I’m so mad at myself for putting him through whatever happened during the night in this hospital. Basically paid 1800 pounds for my cat to suffer.
My cat had two distinct clipper lacerations on his neck which I was never told about even if he was moving and was accidentally nicked him I should be informed about it. Contact me if you want to see the photos of the neck lacerations from rough handling of my cat.

We had an out of hours emergency and the Veteris team at Twickenham were responsive, professional and above all compassionate during a very difficult time.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

My sweet Frankie was PTS at home and the emergency vet was empathetic and professional and explained everything very clearly.

They took good care of my cat both times I was there. The second time, my poor boy needed surgery for a broken paw. The quote came to £5k, or just under £6k when including the fees for the consultation, overnight and initial medication. My vet was shocked and called it extortionate and honestly I agree. I was able to find someone with good reviews who did the operation for £2,5k and ‘only’ £500 per night of overnight care. People are desperate when bad things happen to their balls of floof. As okay as the care was, I just don’t think price gouging is right. I’d recommend checking prices elsewhere before agreeing to a treatment plan with Veteris!
