Excellent emergency service when my dogs life was in danger. Rapid response from the vet Eric. When he arrived he very quickly assessed the urgency and got straight to work. He remained until he was satisfied my dog had recovered and told us what to watch out for over the next few days. The receptionist Debbie was also amazing and contact me with updates. I would highly recommend Veteris! Eric literally saved my dogs life! Thank you

Amazing emergency vet team - would highly recommend! We were so worried about our boy when he went in - he was so lethargic, vomiting. They got him into good spirits soon after getting him on an IV and did extensive tests to rule out any conditions more serious than the expected gastroenteritis.

Fantastic, all the care and knowledge of a practice but in the comfort of your own home. My dog was seen and treated in a few hours (on a Friday night) by a lovely vet.

We used Veteris for an emergency home visit for our cat Picasso after he was injured, and the veterinary care itself was excellent. The vets who attended were professional, compassionate and extremely reassuring during a stressful situation.
My original review reflected frustration around delays and lack of communication regarding the insurance paperwork rather than the medical treatment itself. After posting the review, Louis (one of the directors) contacted us personally, investigated the matter thoroughly and helped resolve the situation very quickly. It appears that at least part of the delay may actually have been caused by issues between the insurer and the claims process rather than by Veteris directly.
Once escalated, everything was handled promptly and professionally, and our insurer has now approved the claim.
No system is perfect, and I still think communication around insurance/admin could be improved, but overall we remain very happy with the care Picasso received and grateful to the Veteris team.

My dad had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put his beloved cat, Bear, to sleep at home today. Vet Alex was extraordinary throughout the entire experience. From the moment he arrived, he was calm, gentle, and deeply empathetic. He took his time examining Bear, speaking to him softly, and explaining every step with such care and respect.
Alex created an atmosphere of peace during one of the hardest moments my dad has ever faced. He ensured Bear was comfortable, pain‑free, and treated with dignity right until the end. His compassion extended to my dad — giving him space, patience, and reassurance when he needed it most.
My dad is profoundly grateful for Alex’s kindness and professionalism. It takes a special person to handle such emotional moments with so much grace, and my dad will always remember the comfort he brought to Bear and to him.

I didn’t want to risk stressing our pooch by travelling so after calling Veteris Charlotte came to see our terrier dachshund cross after concerns she had eaten a cooked chicken thigh bone. Charlotte spoke to us with as much concern and care as you want when your pet is unwell and handled Lola with care. Charlotte listened and gave great advice, had we not have been able to see a vet there is no way I could have slept last night.

Charlotte came out to visit my two 13 week old puppies who had been severely vomiting and couldn’t have been more kind and professional- she put our minds at ease and was amazing with the pups. Can’t thank her enough 🙏🏼

Firstly I would like to thank Veteris team for being so warm and caring. Maddy the veterinarian who came to our home and comforted not only our cat (baby) but myself too. The team had kept me updated regarding when to e veterinarian will be arriving.

I was alone at home when I had to make a very big decision about baby’s illness and the next steps. Maddy didn’t rush, she explained and respected my wishes as to letting me make the right decision with my family over the phone.

She was very gentle with baby and talked me through every step till the end.
After baby had pasted away peacefully she made sure that i was ok and had comforted me.

I would recommend anyone to call the Veteris team to make a home visit for your beloved pet. Thank you so much for all your kind wishes throughout from the time I had made the first initial phone call till the messages I received after Maddy had left.

Veteris saved my dog's life - eternally thankful. (Shoreditch location in Hoxton Sq)
Sally my dog started getting very ill over the Bank Holiday weekend, with terrible diarrhoea that got worse and worse until there was just blood and sh1t running out of her, without her being able to stop it. She was lethargic and wobbly, wouldn't eat and I could see her slipping into a really serious condition. Although we visited another emergency vet and our usual one in Hackney, over the course of 3 days, as she refused all food and was losing so much liquid, she was deteriorating fast. My friend Kate and I took her to the Hoxton Veteris about 9pm on Wednesday night and they were brilliant from the first minute we came in. The vet, Thomas, was so reassuring and unfazed by Sally's state and that immediately helped me. I was worried about money and paying for it all and he worked out the most cost effective options. They admitted her immediately and got her on a drip, calling me the next morning to say how well she was doing and that I could visit her. I saw vet Emeline that morning and she too was so kind and knowledgeable. Although Sally was much better we agreed that she should stay in for the day just to really stabilise her, and I would collect her that night. They gave me updates through the day and, when I collected Sally, were genuinely happy to see her so much better. They took the time to recommend follow up care to keep her healthy and to make sure I understood all her medication.
I cannot praise them enough - every single person we dealt with was kind, knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. I would recommend them to any pet owner.
Sally is an 8 year old Romanian rescue who is very grumpy and scared of strangers. She's a big, strong dog at 23kg with some very firm boundaries, and the team worked around all of this and gave her such care and attention, taking her for little walks and offering her her favourite chicken and rice meals. I genuinely feel like they saved her life.
The final diagnosis was haemorrhagic gastroenteritis and it is the most ill I have ever seen any dog. Don't hesitate to bring your pet here for veterinary care.

My Ollie had a dental extraction operation on Thursday, by Saturday night/Sunday morning he was refusing to eat/drink/sleep & couldn't rest his head at all, & after Veteris (Ellie) gave him a couple of injections in the comfort of our own home, they didn't help at all, so on Bank Hol Mon morning it was recommended we go to the hospital. We were seen very quickly, & 2 stronger injections later Ollie finally licked me, so I knew he was returning to normal. Ollie's an incredibly anxious rescue (& bite risk) and how a vet handles him makes such a massive difference to his experience. Alfonso was just so absolutely outstandingly brilliant with him, his tail was wagging, & Ollie even ran off after him - this is unheard of!! I soo need this kind of approach in my regular vet practice, as it makes a world of difference, & he left a happy & stress free pooch - amazing!! Just wonderful compassion - thank you so very much!!

Sadly we were left with no option other than euthanasia for our elderly cat whose health had deteriorated dramatically, and we wanted her to spend her last moments in her familiar environment.
While a very sad day overall, I have only good things to say about the service provided by Veteris.
From the call handler to the vet who attended, everyone could not have been more helpful and compassionate.

We are new to London and we had to have our fluff girl Fergie checked out for her paw. We came over from New York in February and everything was fine until she jumped off a chair. Fortunately, it was a minor injury, but we needed a vet quickly because we were leaving on a trip the next day. We called Veteris for an emergency appointment and Maddie showed up to check Fergie out. We were so impressed with the service and we were even more impressed with Maddie the young vet who took care of Fergie. I highly recommend Veteris for mobile emergency pet service in London. They are fantastic.

The emergency vet, Akhil, was efficient, thorough and extremely caring throughout. We never felt rushed, and he explained each step clearly, with great compassion. He carefully talked us through all the options at a very difficult time. Sadly, our elderly cat had to be put to sleep, but Akhil made the whole process as gentle and supportive as possible.
We’re very grateful for his kindness shown to both us and our cat and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
