Very Quick with updates
Accord were very responsive to changes for a Clients Mortgage as the rates had reduced and managed to turn things around very quickly to ensure the client was able to move in on the agreed date

Firs time using the £5k deposit…
Firs time using the £5k deposit mortgage, FTBs who didn't have much credit history but it all flew through, underwriting was seamless without me needing to call up.

Ported cases
My experience of dealing with the staff at Accord has always been excellent. They are friendly, polite and helpful.
However, he last two cases I have submitted to Accord have been for clients porting their mortgage to a new property. The system is outdated, slow and, in my opinion, a difficult process.

Most flexible lender out there
Always get to speak to an underwriter and if they can do a deal they will. If they can’t they will specifically tell you why. No hiding behind GDPR

Don’t waste your time with this lender.
Spent weeks asking me irrelevant questions, then to satisfy everything giving me false hope, to saying no on something they knew from the get go.
Waste of time and effort.
EDIT: To top it all off the lender replied saying they have requested more information from me privately. Haven’t got any contact from them privately!

They initially offered a mortgage of…
They initially offered a mortgage of £180,000 after they did their “searches” everything was in check but still decided to drop down by £20,000! Fair enough managed to get some more funds and accepted the mortgage only for them to then decline the mortgage without reason! Broker couldn’t understand why and did all the checks but didnt make sense and no one on accords side is willing to give a reason! Absolute joke!
