Love Accord, so easy to deal with and so helpful. Wish I could put more cases with you but generally down to sourcing.

Please avoid this lender their criteria on mortgages is shocking I went through a broker loans .co.uk who suggested accord would be a quicker process but dealing with accord was shear hell it was documentation after documentation 6 weeks on which was unnecessary as I work on mortgages myself so I had to pull the plug and say I’m not going ahead .I dealt with a different broker and different lender the whole process was hassle free and was completed in 2 weeks I wish I could recommend this broker I dealt with after to everyone because they were truly exceptional.please avoid accord at all costs they are not worth your buisness .

I recently phoned accord regarding a mortgage break. My mother had passed away with dementia and I had to help with the funeral headstone etc. This had put me on the back foot abit and I needed someone to help me. So I decided to call and see if I could have a break for a couple of months. When I asked the first guy for some information and to see if it was possible and his customer care skill was shocking to say the least . No compassion no explanation just pretty much I doubt it but I’ll put you through anyway. I then got put through to Inayah who was an absolute credit to your company. She reached out and asked how I was on a personal level and if I had any support etc.She also explained that she could offer support through the company if I needed it. She then explained all my options and gave me the help I was looking for. But honestly the girl was amazing and I’ve told my work colleges about how she turned the whole situation right round from the first guy being really poor to her being 10/10.

Real common sense used by Accord on a strong case for two young professionals. By using this initiative they were able to make the couple's dream move come true. Fantastic help from my BDM, Jade Maguire too

Jordan is fabulous and always returns my calls and Accord is easy to contact and their systems are user friendly during complex cases the underwriters communication is excellent

Hopeless! They include an account number on letters but not a customer number, to get your customer number you need to phone up and no one answers. All i want is to access my account, I dont understand why it has to be so complicated and why the ID i need isnt clearly included on my statements?

without any warning I was charged an arbitrary '1.15% loading fee' for having a lodger when I was told it was ok by customer service to have one ( even 2!). No where in the terms it is indicated that I would be charged for having a lodger and what the rate would be. I have been in touch 6 times with customer service and no one seems to know what the rules are so how am I supposed to know what to do, and why being penalised for an obbvious lack of clear rules? The only recourse is a formal complaint is wait 8 weeks and go to ombudsman. what a waste of my time and money!

Accord was the only lender that could consider the application based on their circumstances, I was so pleased with the whole journey from DIP to offer and then to completion. I take my hat off to you Accord.

Avoid this lender, they do not have the capacity to provide a redemption statement. Can not confirm if it is being made or when it will be done by. Calling into customer service is like talking to a brick wall

Do not use this company I've got a fixed rate and they have changed it in their favor twice costing an extra £46 keep your money in your pocket and go else were they are heartless

The underwriter was very positive and helpful. Very open minded. Excellent products

Just like other reviews, My re mortgage was approved, then 1 month later rejected. Reason: Anexe in the House.
I went to Baker Estates in Hainault, Told Them, My re mortgage approved with Accord mortgages. Manager said, They don,t consider, because Accord Mortgage refuse in the survey. same thing happened to me.

We are so grateful to Accord for giving us the chance to own our first home and get us onto the property ladder. The process has been seamless. We used a broker but sometimes we called the team directly for updates and everyone was super helpful. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you as they aren’t a true reflection of the great work which goes on. Thank you Accord!

Everything else and customer service on phone was good however, the offer emails were not received by solicitors.
This created a lot of delays as I the broker had to request specified solicitors’ copies from Accord. And then pass on to client’s solicitors which resulted in a lot of wasted time on the phone to Accord, solicitors, clients and myself.

Please can you make an easier way to send emails instead of the encrypted emails which sometimes do not go to some solicitors.
