Order had not been dispatched after 3 days so I cancelled the order. They do have a disclaimer saying it can take up to 3 days during busy times but it's not Christmas or Easter or anything, just a regular week. It also takes 24 hours to answer emails.
The email accepting my order cancellation was courteous though.
Would not use again.

I ordered from here on tuesday 31st may and spent 50£ and even on the jubilee bank holiday it came around on saturday it came a bit earlier than expected, well packaged and even items in the clearance zone expire next year, i will order again and i look forward to enjoying my sweets :), and with all of that said, Goodbye!

Not much to say here, I ordered in March and just never got my order. They ship using DPD which is an awful service to begin with so I kind of expected it but yeah.

Ordered from here and never again. Most of my order was out of date or had a few days left. They should provide products with at least a few months date. Haven't answered any of my emails and seems they have done this to other customers too. Avoid.

I wish I read the reviews. Everything was fine until I got my order. All expiring next month. rather just stick to Amazon next time

Contrary to some other reviews, I had a good experience ordering from here. I ordered after the Christmas delivery cut off on 16th December and the order arrived on the 23rd December. All items were also in date until February next year. Very reasonable prices and impressive delivery time considering the time of year. Items were also very well packaged up to avoid damage. Would order again.

I ordered £71 worth of items from this website last Thursday, paid for express delivery too and even requested for it to arrive by the 5th of December if possible.

It’s now Monday, December 6th, and still no update and not even dispatched. I have sent an email and message on messenger to them a few days ago but got no response.

HORRIBLE customer service and I do not recommend buying from them even with express shipping.

Ok i got my package and everything was well packed, arrived sooner than expected, no leaks, no damages so i have to leave a 4 star rating.

I've used american sweets a few times as my stepdad is American and misses his home comforts. Sadly there website is full of glitches, after placing my order I was sens and email saying I was undercharged because of errors on their site, and asking me to pay the remaining if I wanted my order. I would have expected them to honour the difference but they refused to cancelling my whole order instead. Very disappointing customer service bad practice.

Dispatched in 3 days, delivered in 2. All in-date and packaged carefully, very impressed! Surprised with this after reading some of the reviews on here after ordering. Will 100% be ordering again very soon.

Avoid!!! I made an order which took longer than advertised to arrive but I let that slide because of covid.

I then get my order and half of it is missing. I email to explain and they said that they had checked the security camera and that the full order had been packed... they then asked if my parcel damaged. I sent a pic back saying no it was perfectly in tact then they blanked me!! I’ve heard nothing since and I haven’t been offered a refund. Fuming! Won’t ever use again.

You guys really need to update your system!

Took 5 days to have the order dispatched which isn't too bad. I picked some stuff that was reduced because it was gone out of date but I also paid full price for other bits that were in date however a few items that were meant to be in date were in fact gone off. I had great customer service/communication up until the point where I emailed to say I was missing my pringles then they totally blanked me. I didn't ask to be refunded for the gone out of date stuff that was meant to be in date as a few months out of date isn't that bad but I did want refunding for the pringles. They were only £1.66 (they were reduced) but they should've been delivered or refunded. Negatives aside, they offer a great variety and items are packaged carefully.

Customer service is a joke lying and telling you want you want to hear just to change the date next day with no update. Avoid at all cost !

My delivery took far longer than advertised and they have awful customer service, so you are left with no response or answer. They just take your money and do not care about the rest. Their service isn’t unique so I would suggest ordering from other stores. At least then you’ll have peace of mind.

What a disaster of a company. Advertising 3 day delivery on their website banner but offering next day at higher price which I paid for on 16th Dec. They dispached it on 4th Jan oweing to "high Christmas volume". You dont say! Even taking the BH out of it you've taken 16 working days to dispach a next day delivery you absolute shambles of a company. Nobodys ordering for January, these are Christmas gift orders and you know it!

Placed order for my sons birthday present in good time. Didnt have any correspondence and order didn’t arrive. Never mind I thought I can give it him for Christmas. It’s the 23rd and I’ve had nothing. I’m now going to have to go out to the shops a week after having Covid (and still feeling crap) because this company cannot fulfil orders. To add insult to injury nobody from the company ‘can answer the phone as they are so busy’ they also apparently can’t answer Facebook messages or emails. Thanks for spoiling a young lads birthday and Christmas that’s some feat

Been waiting 10 days for my order to be shipped and still nothing. All they said was there was high demand because of black Friday. I do understand this, however when you order 2 weeks after black Friday its unacceptable. Charged expensive shipping for 48hr. Very unhappy. Do not recommend
