I had a very impressive rental…
I had a very impressive rental experience with Arctic Rental Car during the strike in early June. Before departure, we were quite worried about the strike last for 3 weeks, but we were informed the most updated information about the strike every 3-5 days. Although they couldn't provide the electric car we ordered due to the inconvenience the strike had caused, they provided us an almost brand new HONDA SUV with half tank of fuel, which was enough for the 2-day driving and the way to refuel on Suduroy, the only island provided gasoline during the strike. They also provided some alternative ways to the unforeseen situation during the period. Luckily, everything of our trip went very smoothly with Arctic's help and we really enjoyed the driving on Faroe Islands!

Anbefaling til Arctic cars på Færøerne. Fly forsinket 6 timer ved afrejse. Fik lov at beholde bilen længere end aftalt, således vi undgik at vente i lufthavnen.

The whole process was great
The whole process was great - booking, picking up and dropping off. We had a problem with contacting Arctic because we did not have a local sim card so could not access the code to collect the key. Avis kindly rang for us. Easily contactable by email.

Efficient and convenient
Very happy with all aspects of our car hire. Online booking process was clear and worked well. Collecting the keys at the airport was quick and straightforward - from a key box - beats the queues at the car hire desks. The car was as expected and in good condition. The return process was easy (key drop box). The refund of the deposit was quick. All in all, what’s not to like?!
