Ordered at Memphis in May
Ordered at Memphis in May, my order was not handled correctly by the point of sale system and was delayed by a week. After getting the order straightened out (staff was very helpful), the shipment was not delivered on time by UPS, resulting in several of the pieces being defrosted to the point I would not feel comfortable using. Backyard Butcher did refund me for the un usable items. We grilled one of the TBones the other night.it was very good.

Our filets were supposed to weigh 6…
Our filets were supposed to weigh 6 ounces each. They were each only 4 ounces. The sirloins were under weight as well. There was only one that weighed 7 ounces, the others weighed 5 and 6 ounces each. We expected to receive what we paid for.

This way my first time ordering from them. I keptmy expectations normal and just wanted decent meat. The box arrived on time and everything looked fine.. after cooking a few meals I can say the quality is good enough for regular use no complaints from my side.

I am highly dissatisfied
I am highly dissatisfied. You cannot even cook the steaks to medium rare. They have a gritty taste to them. I honestly was hoping that it was just me but it's not. We have tried them twice and tonight has been the second night. I will never ever buy from this company again. I spent a lot of money on product that I don't even want to eat. You need to warn people about adding salt solution and mechanically tenderizing the steaks before they buy them when something is too good to be true, it probably is. Now I know

Tough as shoe Leather
I purchased a box of meat from one of their trucks. The ribeye's were thin as paper and tough as shoe leather. The T-bone was a little thicker but was also tough as shoe leather. I would never recommend buying their meat.

DON'T BUY THEIR MEAT NOT WORTH IT
The products are not worth the price. The ribeye's are tough and the flavor is nothing to brag about and they shrink up. I've never had a ribeye ever shrink up in my life until I purchased from them. The meat supposedly is coming from Australia so who's to say that it's not kangaroo or some other animals while claiming that the meat is beef. I can buy the same size of ribeye's at Dollar Tree for a lot cheaper and theirs is at least tender and don't shrink up. When returning the meat they said I will get my refund for it but it's been over a week and still haven't received my refund. Folks DON'T be FOOLED by them and their deals because they're not good deals. SCAMMERS
