Perfect home

Overall the purchase experience is great and perfect!! Would like to say thank you to every staff from sales team especially Bella, customer service team James and construction site manager & building team staff as they are very professional and proactive to resolve the house issue before and after we moved in. This is our dream house and all is perfect for us. Highly appreciated it!!

Purchasing a property

Purchasing a property of any nature can be tough but my experience with St George, particularly with Ahmet and Danielle made the whole process so much easier. Highly recommend St George if looking to purchase now or in the future..

Apologies, and updated response

Just had a letter from Encore Estate
Managment.
Advising that there is a deficit of £395.000 for Tree work, although this is
Potentially estimated.
As a free holder I was aware of tree work, but not aware of any consultation
With Residents as regards quotes.
Or the opportunity to see quotes before
Engaging contractors.
My understanding is there is a legal
Requirement for Managment Company to engage with freeholders
And leasholders as regards costings
Before works are agreed on.
To me that does not seem to have happened.
I except that when I purchased my home, I joined a management company
And realised there was a service charge.

However after 5 years of living in my home, Berkley Homes have continued to be
Greatly involved with Encore Managment and this continues to cause numerous problems as regards
Who makes decisions and manages
The Estate.
My warning to any one looking to buy
A new home, and I include Berkeley Homes is to be very cautious, as regards Management Company’s, and the continued involvement of Developers, your new home can over
A short period of time become a nightmare, and potentially a problem selling your home. developers and Managment company’s like to treat
Freeholders as leaseholders, this allows
Them to be try to bully people.
Always look at developers/ Managment
Company’s reviews.

I like were I live, but from experience of
So many ongoing problems, I would never by a new home.
In my current situation as regards over
Spend, residents have suggested taking legal advice.

I have supplied my details to Trust Pilot as
Requested by Berkeley, to date there has been
No contact from Berkeley.
4th July, I have now had a reply from Encore
The Estate Management
Company.
They have apologised for the letter as regards
Charges, and excepted that the letter was not
Clear, and would have caused concern to
Residents.
A clearer worded letter is being sent out as regards charges to all Residents.

I would like to thank Charlotte Cooper for her
Assistance in dealing with this matter.

They cowboys run by kids they make you…

They cowboys run by kids they make you work in unfit conditions so they can save money all they wanna do is push ya to work without a care on your health all to please there in house managers and health and safety which is fake as they get told they coming to site so they go nuts hiding all there unsafe practices take fake pics act like they work safe all the time but it's just an act. They will come after your job if u say anything because they evil so b very careful this company is dangerous

Buying from them from Berkeley Homes as…

As a current leaseholder, I strongly urge prospective buyers to reconsider purchasing from Berkeley Homes based on my personal and genuine experience. The service charge for my two-bedroom flat in North London has more than doubled—from just over £3,000 in 2018 to over £6,000 within approximately six years.

What’s more concerning is the complete lack of any transparent mechanism to challenge or reduce these escalating charges—unless you are prepared to take the matter to the First-tier Property Tribunal, which can be a lengthy and costly process.

Every six months, receiving a service charge demand feels like opening Pandora’s box. There’s no telling how much you will be billed by the management company, which is appointed solely by Berkeley Homes, the landlord, under a leasehold structure that feels more feudal than fair—especially in 21st-century England.

A particular word of caution to overseas buyers from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia: do your due diligence before committing to any property purchase, and be fully aware of the ongoing financial obligations attached to service charges.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a property from St Williams Homes (part of Berkeley Group) and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional. The sales team was knowledgeable and friendly, guiding me through every step and ensuring I was fully informed about the property and all available options.

The quality of the build is outstanding, and it’s clear that the company takes great pride in their developments. The attention to detail, both inside and outside the property, exceeded my expectations. The modern design and high-quality finishes have made my new home a perfect blend of style and comfort.
