I had a very good conversation with Dr Mohammed. He put me completely at ease from the beginning. We had a few issues with connectivity at the beginning , but he was calm and kind.
I felt listened to and heard and I was given insights to my condition and non medication strategies to help. I also had my medication prescription appointment booked for October 14th, which I think was very timely.
I was very pleased with how the appointment went and commend Dr Hossein Mohammed for his knowledge and manner

I’ve had a very positive experience with Berkeley Psychiatrists. Sarah saw me for my first consultation and was incredibly attentive, kind and professional. Since then, I’ve been seen by other doctors who have also been excellent. I’ve always felt listened to and well cared for. I would definitely recommend them.

I only had a short wait for my ADHD assessment. The whole process from start to now starting medication has been exceptionally quick but through. A very professional service and would recommend to anyone thinking about having an assessment.

I found Berkeley Psychiatrists through the NHS Right to Choose pathway and have had a genuinely positive experience with them so far.

The whole process has been really straightforward, with clear communication from the point my referral was accepted. There was a good choice of appointment times, including evenings, and I really appreciated being able to choose my own clinician and read their bios beforehand. There was also plenty of availability, so I was able to choose an appointment that worked around my own schedule.

Before my consultation I was sent several fairly in-depth forms to complete, but these could easily be worked through at my own pace over a few days.

My virtual consultation was with Dr Hollie Hearfield and she was absolutely wonderful. She immediately put me at ease and was friendly, reassuring and kind, while still getting right to the crux of things. We had some really in-depth conversations and I came away feeling genuinely heard and validated.

Following my diagnosis, Dr Hearfield explained my options and arranged for me to begin titration. My first titration appointment was with Farbod Zoroaster, who was equally reassuring and thorough. He explained the medication options clearly, answered all of my questions and, after deciding to proceed, my prescription was sent directly to my chosen pharmacy without any issues.

I’m still going through titration, but everyone I’ve dealt with at Berkeley so far has been professional, compassionate and completely non-judgemental. Seeking a diagnosis can feel like a huge and very personal step, and the kindness and respect I’ve been shown throughout has made a real difference.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Berkeley to anyone considering them through Right to Choose or for private care.

My diagnosis and titration process so far has been seamless. My assessor Hayley Ring was so lovely and helpful. The process was very fast and efficient.

I had called twice and had a lovely person answer the phone both times. My adhd assessment was with Dr Mohammad. He was great, really supportive let me talk and share my experiences, and helped restructure/reframe some of the usual adhd questions you get in a way that made it easier to understand.

I used the NHS right to choose system. It took a month after contacting my gp, to be referred. I was then lucky to catch Berkeley Psychiatrists in a quiet period. And got my assessment in the same week. Im now a few week away from having a follow up to discuss my medication.
After my assessment Dr Mohammad sent me lots of other resources to use to help research and understand adhd more. Its been really helpful just knowing its come from a medical professional. It means I can trust the information as opposed to the adhd social media content thats out there.

Back again with an update. Berkeley Psychiatrists has been great all throughout my NHS right to choose experience! Leon patiently explained how to take my meds, what the titration phase would look like and anything I should keep track of. I feel well cared for and in capable hands! I had an issue with accessing some documentation that wasn't being sent through by GP and a simple call to Berkeley took care of that easily too! Wonderful staff all around.

Very prompt, friendly and professional service, which means so much when we didn't know where to start. Guided through the whole experience, which I am very thankful for. Highly recommended. Thank you for your ongoing support.

From start to finish my journey with Berkeley has been great. A professional approach for information gathering, a brilliant assessment with a very lovely psychiatrist through to reviews and assistance with titration. Any email request for information answered promptly and with professionalism and genuine care for the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It’s unnerving for some people like me to go through this but honestly it was simple and has changed my life already.

Mr Conner McNamara is great - I felt that I had so much room in the appointment to talk about any of my concerns or questions about my medication, and nothing was considered too small or unimportant to talk about. Really considerate, kind, thorough and helpful!

Laura put me at ease immediately and was easy to talk to. She was professional, knowledgeable and very thorough. At the end she explained her diagnosis and also helped me to understand her reasoning. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

I'm really glad I choose Berkeley Psychiatrists. I was quite nervous but my assessment went smooth and Dr Hollie was very kind and validating. It was great to see someone who specialises in high masking women and could really understand my issues.
I also received my meds very speedy, within a week. The admin team, specifically Stacey is also very helpful and lovely.

Honestly from diagnosis to titration, i've had excellent care. My Psychiatrist Clare is amazing and im so pleased to have her. She always reassures me even though we have set scheduled appointments, that i can contact her or clinic if i have any issues. Its just that much reassuring. Being an NHS patient through right to choose i do not feel treated any differently. Ive had immpecable care. Thank you for helping me through this transition in my life and helping me navigate through living with ADHD. I look forward to my on going care with you all.
