First wood burning stove I've had, very well fitted by Heritage stoves, Guisborough, it looks great, I've used at few times on cooler evenings, very easy to use, looks great and gives out plenty of heat in my living room. I would definitely recommend

Faultless installation by Heritage Stoves (Guisborough). Thick and uneven stone walls to contend with. Left everything clean and tidy.
Able to use a snug room, which previously was always cold.

I wanted to give some feedback on the Charnwood Aire 7 I installed in October last year, so I've had 6 months with it over the Winter too.
I have to say it is the most wonderful of wood burners I have ever owned. Easy to light, easy to control, easy to clean. In fact I have only ever cleaned the glass once, then just with a damp cloth. Emptying the ash is only needed every few weeks. The quality of the engineering is top-notch and this stove must be the result of a lot of development. At minimum air it just keeps ticking over, at maximum it really kicks out the heat, and there's everything in between. A typical evening we will burn just 4 decent hardwood logs - about half of what we used on the open fire, and you get more and better controllable heat too. Every home should have one!

Customer Service is second to none. They do what it says on the tin. 5* all round.

We were advised the 5kw would be the right choise by our installer but alas ww could only fit a 5"flue, so had to download size to the 3 7kw, although smaller this dose still give off good heat, we will have to wait till next winter now to see if it performs for us.
Love the style, although we do get a little wind noise on windy days.

The guys that came to fit the stove, were so careful, keeping everything clean with minimal disruption.

The choice of Log Burner was spot on. To have our evenings turned from cold to warm was lovely and the heat from our Charnwood made us very cosy.

We are very pleased with the fire once it arrived - however it was two days late arriving with the company fitting it, we were told it was due to an IT issue on Charnwood’s part, not really good enough, it also transpired that your customer service department could not tell our fitters were it was and when it would arrive with them.

They were very prompt in sending the 10 year guarantee

Excellent stove but design let down by tool which is ok for grate riddling but not positive enough for safe removal of ash-pan, and storage position gets too hot to retrieve tool when stove is lit.

Dan came and did survey he was great and made everything after, installation, and showing me how it use fire.
Kev, Jordy and Mark did installation they were very professional very friendly,and cleaned up everywhere
I hadn’t got a chimney or fireplace so a lot of work was involved thank you to all at Kernow fires.

My recent order was processed in accordance with the company's terms and conditions and I was very happy with the goods I received.
Above and beyond this was the help I got from Robert Stockton in Technical Services in locating an extra part I needed for my stove which wasn't included in the spares listing.

Stove works well, not used it much yet. Chimney is a bit industrial looking but we can live with that. Still to test the oven but lots of lovely warmth and like the fact we can see the logs burning. it does seem a good quality product and not too expensive - the main cost is installation.
