Engineer was fab kept me informed about timings arrived when indicated swift repair of my washing machine.

Engineer very pleasant, informative and helpful, arrived 5 mins early. Checked machine details, then checked and diagnosed the drum/spider problem and checked the debris from the filter. More photo evidence of his findings sent in his report and costings, informed me the insurance company would be in touch same day or tomorrow. 1 hour later insurance company informed me the machine is being replaced and all I have to do is choose from their list, found the similar LG that we wanted and placed my order. Can you get better service than this, I doubt it! Thank you to the engineer and Dolphin Appliance Ltd for their excellent service!👍👏👏👏 😁Happy Customer!

Aaron and his colleague (didn’t catch his name) both came to fix my American fridge freezer yesterday. They were polite, friendly and efficient. They were really good with my dog Teddy, he absolutely loved all the attention they both gave him.

Louis attended today to fix our dish washer on behalf of another service provider.

What a very polite helpful and took time to explain the problem to me.

Messaged the engineer straight after he messaged me a time slot, he didnt reply but it does say that he’s read my messages ( twice ) no reply.
He calls and says he’s outside and no one is at the property, i explained i am 5 mins away I needed to collect medication for my daughter.. he said he wont wait 5 mins and needed to go. He was rude, never replies, i tried calling him loads of times and nothing, very bad customer service

After being continuously letdown by the engineers for my branded washing machine. Aaron literally saved the day explaining the problem and what he was doing the whole time was great to chat to and fixed my washing machine after not having one for a month I can’t thank him enough.

Dolphin have been the approved repairer for several times for me. Generally the engineers are not great at listening to the issue when you report what’s been happening or they visit without the require parts despite it being very clear what the issue is. Also getting quick appointments is often difficult and you often have to wait over a week or two, or they will randomly ring and offer you an on the day visit which is tricky if you work. However my repairs always eventually get sorted but just these issues being resolved would be great!

Visited six times with no extra charge to fit numerous new parts until combi oven fully functioning again..

Really happy with the service from the tumble dryer engineer. He was extremely helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything clearly, couldn’t diagnose the problem as it seems to be an intermittent fault.
Would definitely recommend his services and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. Excellent service!

Aaron was my engineer, He was on time and had kept me informed as to his exact timings well. He was friendly and very professional in the way that he conducted the repair. In order to ascertain the exact problem I had taken the machine apart to locate the problem but had not reassembled all of the screws. He made me feel very at ease about all of this snd took the trouble to explain what he was doing, and why. He was extremely helpful
In relocating the machine in its proper position at the end . I rate his work very highly indeed and strongly believe he is a very good ambassador for Dolphin. I cannot praise his work too highly. He was really excellent. Thank you .

Aaron attended and fitted the grill element on my John Lewis oven, off the back of my D & G policy. He was prompt, courteous and knew his job backwards. Excellent service.
The only snag is that I would have liked a receipt/job confirmation to show date the grill was changed for my personal records.

Absolutely appalling experience and customer service.

Our hob was fitted in December 2024 and has now developed the exact same fault for the second time. The first time, we were told it needed replacing and were given a “brand-new” hob.

When the engineer came out on 14th August this year, we were then told that both hobs had actually come from a 2022 batch. So the supposedly brand-new replacement we were given was already around two years old when it was fitted. Unsurprisingly, it then developed the same fault.

To make matters even worse, while the engineer was putting the hob back into the worktop after inspecting it, he smashed the glass. It now has a large crack across it and is completely unsafe to use.

We were then given an appointment for 1st September for a new hob to be fitted. Nobody turned up. We later had to chase them, only to be told that they didn’t have the parts in stock and that they would contact us when they did.

Since then, absolutely nothing. No update, no timescale and no indication of when we are actually going to have a working hob again.

We have two young children in the house and have now been left without a usable hob for weeks. The fact that we are in this position in the first place is bad enough, but the hob was then damaged by their own engineer and we have subsequently been left completely in the dark.

The whole thing has been incredibly frustrating. We have been patient, but there is only so long you can put up with this level of incompetence and lack of communication.

At this point I don’t want another excuse or another promise that someone will “get back to me”. I want the problem fixed. If they can’t source the parts or the same hob within a reasonable timeframe, they should provide a suitable replacement of the same size and specification.

For a company dealing with household appliances, leaving a family with two young children without a safe, working hob for this long is completely unacceptable.

I would strongly think twice before using this company.
