The engineer couldn't figure out whats…
The engineer couldn't figure out whats was going on with my tumble dryer.
He was courteous and explained things well. I just dont know this can be fixed as he asked me to take a video when it happens but im never in the same room when I use the tumble dryer.

Very disappointing experience from…
Very disappointing experience from start to finish.
We were originally told by Domestic & General that an engineer would attend yesterday, but nobody turned up. We then received a text message from 07*** ****** stating that the washing machine engineer would arrive between 7:30am and 9:00am. By 11:00am there was still no sign of anyone, so I called Dolphin Appliance Care. The woman I spoke to was quite rude, claimed she didn't recognise the text number, said their engineers don't start until 8:00am, and insisted the appointment was actually between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. [Dophin say they do not know this number, ergo it is not thier Personal Data] She also claimed they had received nothing from Domestic & General, which was confusing given that they clearly had our job booked.
The engineer then unexpectedly arrived at around midday. He said the drain hose was blocked, cleared it, and left.
Unfortunately, the washing machine was not repaired. As soon as we started tackling a week's backlog of washing, it became obvious the fault was exactly the same. The machine still wouldn't spin and continued to default to a drain and spin cycle that also failed.
I called the engineer immediately to explain that the machine was still not working. His response showed complete disinterest. He simply said I would have to contact Domestic & General, rebook the repair, and wait another week.
Poor communication, poor customer service, and an ineffective repair. I appreciate that faults can sometimes be difficult to diagnose, but the dismissive attitude after the unsuccessful repair was unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Following your complaint, we acted quickly to investigate the concerns raised and arranged for a Team Leader to attend on the same day we received the complaint to reassess the appliance and ensure the matter was progressed without further delay. We appreciate that this did not undo the inconvenience you had already experienced, but we wanted to resolve the situation as promptly as possible.
Following this visit, your insurance provider has since decided to pursue an alternative resolution rather than continue with the repair. While that decision rests with your insurer, we hope our actions demonstrated our commitment to putting things right once the issues were brought to our attention.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us review and improve both our communication and customer service.

Engineer arrived on time but poor communication and reporting
Engineer arrived on time. Unplugged power at the appliance (was already unplugged at the wall). Requested plugging in at wall, plugged in power at the device and switched appliance on. The appliance started working. When asked what the problem was replied "i do not know". However reported to Leibherr the appliance had not been switched ON. While I am aware that intermittent faults are difficult to diagnose, his report was totally inaccurate.

Lg American fridge freezer
My American fridge freezer was leaking water from freezer on Monday morning, I phoned Domestic &General as soon as it opened and requested an engineer, earliest date they had was Wednesday,thy told me the name of the company who would be coming and suggested I phone them to see if any cancellations prior to Wednesday, this I did, they said they would let me know if any cancellations became available, I wasn’t expecting to hear anything, but I then had a call on Monday(same day) to say they had a cancellation for Tuesday(today) fantastic news! And that my engineer would text me his ETA Monday evening, text duly arrived engineer coming between 7.30am- 8am on Tuesday Morning. Engineer arrived as said, sent his report in. A little while later I got an email from D&G to say with my insurance cover I had I could choose a new fridge freezer, they would deliver & collect my faulty one, and this would happen on Wednesday! Wow! what fantastic service from all parties,my engineer was Alan, who was brilliant, explaining the procedure. A very polite knowledgable man, a credit to Dolphin Appliance.

Dolphin Alliance care we’re truly lovely. Andy W came out quickly and although he had to tell me bad news, he didn’t try to force me to spend a stupid amount of money on a washing machine that is broken, he was honest and supportive.
