The trainer, Dermott, was very professional and, at the same time, very approachable. He tried to put us at our ease by expressing his own shortcomings and how much he, too, had learned through this training.

A far better alternative - complete in the comfort of your own home on a date of your choosing. Informative and interesting. The course leader was engaging and moved through the material covered at a good pace. I actually enjoyed it and I learned a few things too!

The trainer started off by telling the group, that we should attend with an open mind. Likewise, "my" trainer, didn't judge, chastise, or criticise the group, he wanted to help us become better drivers. I attended because it's a less punitive than the points, but I came away much more enlightened.

Worthwhile attending as reinforces importance of safe driving

I found the course to be very informative and interesting as it highlighted things that I had forgotten since taking my test and also pointed out the changes in the Highway Code!

I joined an online speed awareness course with DriveTech, but the experience was immediately stressful. The instructor had a terrible attitude right from the start, aggressively demanding that we keep our microphones on at all times and our eyes locked onto the screen. The hostile and rigid environment made me feel so low and uncomfortable that I left the call after just one minute. It felt more like an interrogation than an educational course.

A really interesting and thought provoking course which brings you up to date with changes in the highway code

I was expecting to be ‘beaten with a stick “ for 3 hours, but I was very wrong.
The course was interesting, entertaining and engaging and I learned a load of new facts.
The course will definitely affect my driving/riding.

The lady (Susan) who took our course was extremely friendly and easy to listen to. She was polite, firm and kept the course on track to make sure we finished on time.
She engaged with all of us to ensure we were all listening and understanding course content.
All of us probably didn’t want to be there but she made the course as interesting as possible but made us all realise why we were there and the consequences of speeding. All the other participants were nice and engaging and we worked well as a team. Although not the way I’d like to spend £100 nevertheless it was necessary.
