Had two property's checked on the same…

Had two property's checked on the same day 1 property as very quick 3 days to get the results 2nd property 10 days of chasing them every time being told it would be uploaded before the end of the the day it never was.
In the end I had to lose my temper with someone after being told again the it would be done before end of the day bearing in mind it was 4.30 at this point so I asked them to forget about the report and issue a refund to which I was told I would need to be put on hold while they asked the manager about a refund after 5 minutes of waiting the woman came back on the phone and said sorry but because they have just uploaded the results while i was on hold they couldn't give me a refund.
I genuinely feel I got a bad rating (f) because I complained about the poor service and made it clear i was not happy about the service.
I will now pay for a second epc check with a different company and see what rating it gets if its not the same as the first test then i will look into recovering my fees from this company.

We’re genuinely very sorry to read about your experience, particularly after you had two properties assessed on the same day and received such a different level of service between the two.

We completely understand your frustration with having to chase repeatedly over a number of days, especially when you were given assurances that the report would be uploaded by the end of the day and this did not happen. We also appreciate how frustrating it must have been to then request a refund, only to be advised that the report had been uploaded while you were waiting on hold. We can absolutely understand why you felt let down by the service you received.

We certainly would not want any customer to feel that raising concerns or expressing dissatisfaction has influenced the outcome of their assessment. The assessment and rating of a property should be based solely on the findings recorded by the qualified assessor, and your concerns regarding this are something we would be very happy to investigate further.

We’re very sorry that we have left you feeling that you need to arrange a second EPC assessment elsewhere, and we would really appreciate the opportunity to review the order and the communication surrounding it. If you would like us to look into this further, please email your order details to info@propcert.co.uk and our Customer Service Team will be happy to investigate this for you.

We sincerely apologise for the frustration, inconvenience and time you have had to spend chasing us. This is not the level of service we aim to provide.

UNRELIABLE

UNRELIABLE
On Wednesday 9th September, I paid for an EPC to be carried out, received an email the next morning saying I would be contacted within 24hrs (as advertised on website). It is now the 14th and have not been contacted. I emailed them on Friday and asked for a refund if they did not contact me that day, received reply to say they would contact me in 1-2 working days. I would not recommend this company totally unreliable and a waste of time. I will contact my credit card company to rescind the payment.

We completely understand your disappointment. You placed your order on 9th September, received confirmation advising that you would be contacted within 24 hours, and unfortunately this timescale was not met. We also appreciate that, having already contacted us on Friday and requested a refund if you were not contacted that day, receiving a further response advising that you would be contacted within 1–2 working days would have been incredibly frustrating.

You should not have had to chase us for an update, particularly when the initial communication provided a clear expectation of when you would hear from us. We are very sorry that we have fallen short of those expectations and left you feeling that your time and money had been wasted.

We would really appreciate the opportunity to look into this personally and see what happened with your order and why the expected contact did not take place. Please email your order ID and full property address to info@propcert.co.uk, and our Customer Service Team will investigate this for you and assist with the next steps.

We sincerely apologise for the poor experience and for the inconvenience this has caused. This is certainly not the standard of service we want our customers to receive.

Good value for money and very prompt. The only negative was the surveyor turned up at the wrong time and had to come back later.

Would avoid and not recommend

Had the quote for the EPC and they call you within 30 seconds for payment (maybe should have seen that as the first red flag).
Took several days to get an appointment booked so when an appointment was finally booked and the surveyor came that was over a week later.
Still no EPC report over 3 working days later although their website claims to have a 24hr turn around and this was advised over the phone. It then changed to 2 working days and now they’re advising it’s 3 working days..
would not recommend and would advise to avoid and use someone else.
