Frogtape Avis 

Would have been if allowed. I wish I had read all the bad reviews before using it. It has taken all the paint off, wouldn't mind I have been painting for years and always used good old masking tape but thought I would try this product. I wish I hadn't I have much more work to do putting right all the ruined paintwork. I would definitely not recommend this tape.

It will not let me rate it a zero or I would have. Avoid this tape like the plague it is absolutely awful and has caused me so much stress and hours more work putting it all right again. It stripped my walls back down to the plaster !!! I don’t expect to hear from frogtape looking at the reviews on here. This must be the worst product I have ever bought in my life. Will probably go back to my gut instinct now and just take my time and paint free hand. Please people don’t buy this tape you only need to see the reviews on here. I just wish I had read these before wasting my time and my money.

Omg this stuff is horrendous! Avoid like the plague! Its ripped off the paint on ceiling and wall! When you try to paint over it you end up with an ugly strip of uneven touched up paint! I’m furious because it’s taken 10 times longer to finish decorating and it looks a mess.

Wanted to decorate an accent wall in several rooms of my new house. Put frog tape down the sides of the other walls and ceiling so I wouldn't get the new paint on the other walls. When I took the tape off a lot of the paint came off with it so I had to buy lots of paint to touch up all the walls and ceilings. It's made a real mess. Only got it as it says it's for delicate surfaces and won't take paint off. What a joke. I won't be using it again. It's fine for putting on skirtings but that's about all.

I bought Green Frog tape given it said it wouldn’t lift the paint from surfaces, this is absolute nonsense and completely misleading. I spent time running round putting Frog tape on my ceiling in preparation to paint my walls, which I painted three months ago. The frog tape had been on for three days, upon finishing the painting I started to take off the tape and it completely devastated my ceiling. The adhesive was way to strong and started to pull off strips of paint the whole way round the room! I know have to spend lots of time sanding and repainting my ceiling, do not use this on any painted surfaces as it will lift it all when you take it off.

Trash product, paint bleeds through, awful finish.

Do not use, worst tape we've ever used. Brings all your fresh paint off when you remove it. Total crap. Hours more work now to do. Walls are ruined. Avoid this terrible product. Frog tape should have to compensate people for their false advertising, it's truly disgusting!!

Useless. Worse than useless ruined our new painted wall. Ripped all the paint off. Comes in a pointless plastic container, millions going to landfill unnecessarily. Terrible product do not use

Truly crappy tape.. all I can say the commercial got me. I've always use the blue tape and wish I had continued after using Frogger tape. I had to do even more work when painting. Having to do all the touch-ups that's the Frogger take bled out. Annoyed.. stick with the blue painters tape

Unbelievably crap. Lifts paint when removed and doesn't give clean lines as advertised. Will never buy again.

Absolute rubbish....has made a total mess of a painted wall...pulled off the paint. Cost nearly £7....Fuming. 😖

Bought this expensive tape as it was “low tack” and supposed to have “paint block technology”. It even has an example of frog tape v tape without paint block on the cover.

Spent an hour masking up only to have to start again as the tape had started to come away even though I followed instructions to the letter! It’s low tack, but I’d call it NO TACK!

As for the paint block technology, RUBBISH! The supposedly crisp edge was in fact bled into and I could do better with a wonky brush! In fact I did a comparison with a 99p cheap roll (frog tape was £7.99), and I had a perfect result with the cheap tape!

AVOID THIS TAPE!!!

I brought frog tape to cut in new picture rail. The wall had been sanded down primer coat put on and top coat of matt emulsion. This was left for a week to fully dry.
I put the frog tape on dampened it with sponge as the instructions said and true to word no bleeld through of the gloss.
Only problem was the adhesive was that strong it lifted a lot of the top cot emulsion so I had to cut it in again aftwards which I hoped wouldn't have been needed.

I bought the frog tape low tack as I was cutting in on a newly painted wall. After leaving my paint work for two days I applied the tape.

Absolute load of rubbish! Should be done for false advertising.

Absolute crap. Just had all my walls plastered and a nice smooth coat of Dulux silk, waited 3 days for paint to completely dry and used this rubbish to tape wall to cut in, now my walls are ruined. This needs to be looked into should not be able to falsely advertise it.

Used this tape to get a crisp cut line unfortunately it peeled the fresh paint off to the base coat

Absolutely rubbish!! Have spent hours re decorating where the yellow low tack tape has wrecked the paintwork....customer service doesn't respond...absolute waste of money

WHAT A LOAD OF CR@P!!!!

Bought the yellow tape to use on freshly painted surfaces, which were more than 24hours old. Despite applying as instructed it took the emulsion off the edge between wall and coving and now have to re-prep and repain. Pi$$ed off is an understatement, what a crock of cr@p this stuff is! It does not work as it says it will, waste of my money and time. I will not be buying it again.

I spent good money on this as it was a delicate paint job. What a disaster the paint bled under the tape and left a mess. Can’t lodge a complaint with them as they do not accept complaints from Australia. Never waste my money again
