Professional, good quality report and easy to deal with.

Having used surveyors in past moves I have to say that our experience with Jeremy at Gateway is far superior.The survey was thorough and informative bringing to our attention some issues we hadn't accouted for. The report was delivered within a couple of days and we are now able to raise a couple of questions with our conveyancer.Thank you Jeremy at Gateway.

Paul, one of their very experienced building surveyors, carried out a very thorough survey of the property on sale. He compiled a detailed report and catorgorised actions that would need to be taken in order to bring the property up to a satifactory standard. He explained both in writing and in person what he considered to be acceptable maintenance issues, given the property age, as well as what would require immediate investigation by specialist contractors, such as CCTV drain inspection, damp report, etc, prior to exchange of contracts. All in all I was very satisfied with his report, the personal service he provided throughout and therefore highly recommend this company.

The 1 star is that Fleet and Gateway respond within 48 hours to valuation challenges and complaints.

Would give Gateway a zero.

Their surveyor Gateway surveyors undervalued by c40k

We issued actual sold evidence from the UK land registry

They still chose to ignore this
Indicating that the surveyor wasn't agreeing to factual data !!

Totally biased, their valuation was not based on fact just opinion with no scientific foundations

Forced to complete in June as rates were/are going up by 0.6% this week alone, offer was about to expire in June and could not go to another lender onboard as property is above commercial

Lost out on c40k !!

With the cost of living this is a very big hit to absorb.

Needed the money to change a 25 year old flooring, kitchen and bathroom

We've done a PVQ with hard factual data and still no increase in value. Doesn't make sense!

Irrespective of which part of the business does the survey it's still Gateway surveyors accessing the same pool of surveyors.

Very detailed report

I have used Gateway Surveyors on two occasions, both times they have proved to be efficient and painless to deal with. Everything is taken care of and they produce an easy to understand thorough report.

Polite and prompt service. Surveyor gave me a call before and after visit to ask for any concerns and discuss findings. Report was clear and understandable and provided in good time.
