Home pick up first class with no problem. A comfortable and smooth journey thanks to driver who kept us informed at all times . The hotel and meals were the standard we expected. Only down side was long trip between Trim and Carrick on Shannon. Appreciate it was not company's fault the river trip had to be moved but perhaps Trim could have been left out and the time spent in Carrick on Shannon. Nevertheless
a great trip.

Excellent pre trip booking and information. Very clean comfortable accommodation. Good sized bedroom and shower. Very pleasant dining, cleaning and reception staff. Excellent menu and food.We were treated as people and not another coach trip.
Downside. Agent constantly talked to driver during journeys. Driver looking back when answering. His driving was very aggressive at times.
Overall I would highly recommend this trip for organisation, hotel, friendliness and accommodation.
This was my first coach trip and I’ll definitely be back with Glentons.

Morning pickup was as expected and our coach driver Terry was lovely and honest enough to admit to our party that he'd been randomly assigned and didn't really have much clue about the destination , comfy coach and first comfort stop at Gretna Green and i give a warning here always lift the toilet seat and check first as the one i saw looked like someone had scooped a lump out of the the water and wiped it across both lid and seat so always check ! Arrived at the hotel and check in was fine , it's a card these days not a key , no porter ( bring back the porter ! ) my room ? up three flights of stairs , through a door , across a foyer , through another door , left down a corridor till you see room 347 then turn and there's a push door , through that then down stairs , up stairs and through another door then my room door , i'm a severe liftphobic so i did this with a suitcase. Lovely staff , very friendly but as i said oh for a porter !! . Breakfast is a buffet that's to be honest rather disappointing , cooked choices not very warm , baking stale and the cereal was also stale and the milk warm , dinner menu was limited ( usual for coach parties ) and again not very warm , sometimes overcooked , sometimes undercooked , how about some good plain food on offer as well , steak and kidney pie anyone ? or roast beef and yorkshire pudding ? a little bit of gammon with a few sad looking strips of veg isn't quite the same ! First excursion to Cardiff Castle and i can't fault the tour guide there in any way , fascinating place to see and beautiful interiors , would recommend. Second day to St Fagan's Museum Of Welsh Life and in all honesty i only really saw the main exhibition building as i was a bit lost , my fault probably . Third day to Swansea and fair play to Terry our driver he admitted he hadn't a clue about that or Mumbles , might i suggest though dropping off at or near the Waterfront and ( yes i now know that parking costs there , would pay extra ! ) in Swansea rather than outside Tesco ! We had an hour in Mumbles , not long enough really it's a lovely little place with a great sea view. Easier getting my case down on the last day and Terry let me on the coach early which i fully appreciate , thank you sir !, straightforward journey home to Glasgow , little bit of a wait for the pick up home but fine when it arrived , it was a private hire car i'm assuming the lovely shiny mini bus is for larger numbers. Might well book again next year albeit with some things learned. NB:No leisurely coffee break with sweet treat and i would love to have known what was in a Select Welcome Pack but only bottled water for 50p was on offer , a star for our driver Terry and two stars for the very friendly staff at the hotel.

Very enjoyable. One downsize was the dinners each night. Choice good but lack of vegetables made each main course samey. Breakfast and other starters and dessert were good.

Lovely hotel. Friendly driver. Most trips were good

The tour itself was good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the driver got lost on the day trips. Most of the trips we were walking up hill. Not good for anyone with a disability which there was on our bus. The Last of the Summer Wine day trip could have been half a day. Full day was too long as there was nothing else to do once you had seen the film setting. The driver had never done this trip before and seemed to get lost each day. Must have been difficult for him. Driver was a really nice person and very approachable. Not easy trying to please everyone.

3- YOUR OPERATORS WERE RUDE EXCEPT FOR THE LAST ON,
4- HOLIDAY WAS CANCELED AND THEN THE NEXT DAY YOUR OPERATOR CALLED AND SAID MY PAYMENT WAS OVERDUE -RUDE-
5 - DINNER WAS AT 7 TOO LATE FOR ME I EAT AT 5
6-TAXIS BOOKED FOR OUR COMING HOME WERE NOT IN ASSIGNED AREA AS WE WERE TOLD. HAD TO WAIT ADDITIONAL 15 MINUTES FOR THAT AND HE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE HE WAS GOING.
7- THEREFORE I GAVE A 2 I WAS PUSHING ON THAT

Meals were poor quality not good at all.

First time going on one of your day trip with my friends, from start to finish we had a great time.

Our driver was really friendly, kept us well informed throughout the day. Great choice of music on the coach.

Tour ground Dumfries House was really interesting and lunch afterwards was beautiful. Soup, sandwiches and cakes. Then on to Troon for some free time.

We are already planning future trips.

First impressions as a newbee customer of Glenton Holidays, my party and I feel that the information provided on our upcoming trip to Torquay is vague to say the least. No named driver, no explanation on how the excursions work, not even able to provide us with an itinerary of the trip.
With having to contact the emergency number for door to door pick up ourselves it was excellent to have Mr Sullivan confirm that yes home pick up is confirmed for Sunday 30th June at 4am, however why did we have to do this ourselves, surely it could have been explained in the minimalistic paperwork.

Let's hope the actual holiday itself is better than first impressions!! Here's to next Sunday 😊

I had a very good holiday. Glenton have a bad habit of not getting times correct a trip to Guernsey sounds great but to travel 4hrs there and 4hrs back to spend 2 to 3 hrs there is a bit much and to stop the evening meal ticket on the return journey was wrong as we did not get back to the hotel till about 9 at night exhausted with all the travel therefore you do not enjoy the meal provided for you as it is so late and you are exhausted and tired from all the travelling.

I recently enjoyed a day trip with Glenton Holidays in association with Tourism Ireland. As always, our coach took us through some of Scotland's most stunning scenery on the way to Callander, where to stopped for a short break and a walk around the lovely little town, which will always be to me and other older members of the group the home of the 1960s' TV show, Dr Findlay's Casebook, where it was known as Tannochbrae. We then set off for Aberfoyle and the delightful Rob Roy Hotel, where we enjoyed a really delicious lunch, followed by some Irish entertainment and a raffle, the prize of which was a trip to Ireland, which I didn't win. There were many members of the Glenton staff in attendance at the Rob Roy, to ensure we were all enjoying ourselves, including the mascot dog who welcomed us when we arrived. After rather a dreich morning, the sun came out shortly after lunch, which meant that most of us headed outside to sit in the sunshine, a rarity in Scotland ... a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Pleasant day out but you should have told us that there was no free parking at the Edinburgh pick-point. Public transport available for Edinburgh residents, but it would have been very difficult for me to get to the pick-up point without a car.

Well planned trip with excellent driver who seemed to have met many returning customers.
We had a lovely trip to Callender with lunch later at Rob Roy hotel Aberfoyle. We had prebooked from menu and table service was seamless from restaurant staff.
This was followed by an afternoon of Irish folk songs that went down well with everyone before our return home.

Was under the impression that reps
from Irish Tourist Board was going to be there to tell us about the various resorts etc. Meal was lovely and nice entertainment but not much about Ireland
