A massive thank you to highbridge caravans devon for our first experience of buying our first motorhome. Top class service from start to finish. Kept me updated during the weeks the moho was being prepared. Thank you to Jody who sorted everything out for us, and the pics you kept sending us and answering any messages, top bloke. Thankyou to Richard for a great handover who explained every thing in great detail. Everything that needed doing was done. Drove away with the knowledge of being told any problems please ring us. I would definitely recommend highbridge to anyone.

Great service and cheapest prices arrived within 48 hrs

Booked my caravan into Highbridge dealer in Devon for a service Dropped it off with a number of additional items for them to look at. The staff came and looked at the additional items and took some photos. Nothing was said about these items may be warranted items.

Waited a week and heard nothing. I phoned them up to check if service and additional items had been done. I was told van was ready to be picked up. Not sure why no one had contacted my.

I paid for service and job sheet showed all items had been completed. I got to the van and checked it over. Two of the three items marked as completed on the job sheet had not been completed. One had been started and not finished, one had no action taken and one seemed to be completed. I then check things further and found that a number of the standard service check list had not been completed but had been marked as completed. It now puts the complete service into question. I suspect they have taken my money and done little else.

I asked for the service manage to contact me, as he was not in. The warranty person phoned me back the following day and told me that the two items would not be covered even though one item had been started and not finished.

I am aware of a number of local caravan owners to Bovey Tracey who will not be using the local deal because of the very poor experience they also had

I will not be going back to Devon branch

Ordered on a friday and picked up on Saturday so good but staff at the shop took item from the shelf for me as online orders are not picked at weekends and it was helpful staff which got me sorted and not the online ordering system which is flawed.

I first met Jody from Highbridge Caravans at Teigngrace in Devon when I first started looking for a motor home. I was immediately struck by his knowledge and helpful nature, even though they didn’t have anything suitable for me in stock. Several months later and after almost being conned into buying a motor home privately with a catastrophic engine failure, I contacted Jody again and he offered to still keep an eye out for something for me. Eventually the right Hymer van materialised and I’m now the proud owner of it. What strikes me about this company in general is their complete dedication to providing a top-rate service to uphold their long-standing reputation. The van was supplied to me with a 12 month MOT with no advisories, a fresh habitation check, 12 months warranty, 4 new tyres, new brake pads all round, 2 new windows, new blinds and a new modern stereo. I now have a van that I have complete confidence in and have already taken it on a couple of over-100 mile drives and it didn’t miss a beat at all. If you’re in the market for a motor home or caravan from a knowledgeable and trustworthy company, then you really should pay them a visit. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Very disappointed having purchased from here many times over many years.
Picked up a Bailey Unicorn Madrid a week ago last Friday having placed an order with Mike Ford when as part of the deal we agreed a worktop kitchen extention would be fitted as part of the deal.Arrived on Thursday to deliver our PX when Mike told us the extention was not fitted and he would get back to us to let us know when this would happen.
I called to ask for an update and promised a call back that never came,also sent an email no response to that.
Advised by the hand over staff that as the worktop fitting was not on the order they could not have done anything.
I contacted Bailey spares who advise me the part is available but with a leadtime of the 16th June,if this had been done when we placed the order,early April,we would have had the item on the van at collection.
Not the service we used to receive when dealing with Matt.

Great service, competitive pricing and great delivery

We bought a new caravan which we collect on the 12/05 but we wanted a new awning for it. We took a look around the awning shop unpressured or jumped upon. Struggling to decide which one to buy we asked advice from Phil who was very helpful and thoroughly described each one we were interested in and the pros and cons of each. Thanks Phil for helping us eventually decide!

WoW what an experience from when we ordered our new caravan to finally picking it up and driving away. James was brilliant with the order patient and not at all pushy he gave us some great advice about layout which really made us think. Then today we arrived to collect where Steve did an exceptional job of showing us how everything worked and checking we were happy, best handover we have ever experienced, thank you. Then it was onto payment and paperwork and Emma could not have been more helpful helping with tracker registration and what an excellent job on the number plate (especially the smile, she will know what we mean.). Finally we must not forget Sharon who helped with our px. Ordered these items after being let down badly by another supplier. These items arrived inside 48;hrs, before the PayPal refund from the other supplier which I had to cancel.
Highbridge Caravans will now be my go to supplier from now on for caravan spares. 1st class service, well done guys.

Purchased VW Camper Van (reg: RK****D) from Devon branch in May 2022. Sales experience was excellent. However the van didn't come with a new cambelt but suggested we book it in during the 1st year (under warranty) to get replaced. Booked in for engine service and habitation check, also to include cambelt replacement. Devon branch doesn't do the mechanical work so arranged for them to drive van up to their Highbridge branch in Somerset. Dates agreed back in February. Phoned today (day van due back) only to find out that the van was sat in their Devon branch over the easter holidays because nobody had collected it to drive up to Somerset. They didn't bother to inform us of this. Messed up our holiday plans and our camper van will have been off the road for at least 2 weeks until we get it back. First phone call to their Somerset branch concluded that they didn't know where the van was and needed an hour to investigate because 'the job card hadn't been started so we dont know if its here or still in Devon'. Total lack of communication between their Somerset and their Devon service departments. My opinion of Highbridge is now mixed.... great if you want to buy a motorhome or camper van from them but I would avoid them like the plague if you want to get your camper van or motorhome serviced in subsequent years. We will certainly be taking our camper van elsewhere for future service work... 2 weeks off the road for a service is a complete joke.
