I thought staff were helpful
I thought staff were helpful, because if the DVD I wanted was not on display they knew how to order it
Not only that I received the DVD within 48 hours.
This was prompt service.

Helpful and friendly staff
I picked up a on-line order and bought another album whilst in store. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is always a pleasure to visit my local HMV. They also have a great selection of vinyl.

HMV Rude, Hard selling, staff.
HMV make their staff approach customers and ask if they need any help.... this was a thing that I had thought had died out in the 1990s because most customers, like myself, hated it as a a Hard-sell tactic. HMV was one of the few places that did not do it back then..... so to find HMV Newbury doing it in the 20202s was most off-putting.
I put up with it a few times, but when I went in yesterday and was asked the questio within 30 seconds of steping in the door I had to reply "sorry, but I hate being asked that question".... to which the staff member replied "unfortunate for you".
Not only was that remark highly unprofessional but incredibly rude.
I will not be a customer of HMV again.

Very happy with overall experience
The shop assistants were pleasant and helpful when placing my order and on collection. My order was also available earlier than the date expected. Overall very happy with service.

Ordered, came into store notified quickly it was ready for collection. Collected very quickly as was easy access and staff were quick and friendly. Looked happy in there jobs

The film I requested had to be ordered…
The film I requested had to be ordered and it arrived at the Dunfermline shop on the date expected. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. I will recommend HMV to my friends.
