After sale concluded, I found battery was not right would not hold charge It took three phone calls and three weeks to resolve. Having said all that, now its working perfectly, and I'm very pleased with it. Saving hard to replace with double lithium battery pack when serviced And thankyou for a great machine

I recently bought a Mobility Scooter from GP [Fastest Model colour: Blue. Class 3 Top speed 8 mph UK 15 mph Europe / Lithium Battery with a estimated range of 45 miles on a single charge (10 hours}] and was impressed by the personal delivery service from their factory in Stockton-on-Tees to the Wirral peninsula: service "with a smile" plus for the money £2,100 all "looks good" so far, as the specification includes hard tyres (4) rather than ordinary pneumatic tyres, which can puncture easily. Well designed and kitted out with mirrors, lights and even a music speaker system. This company knows its business and seems to have a very good after-sales service too. A pleasure to do business with and no ffuss Recommended.

⁹I bought a scooter about 6 weeks ago and found it was a too speedy for me to run around on.
I contacted greenpower and they agreed exchanging for another, but the one I wanted wasn't in stock until sometime in August this month.
I was told when delivering the exchange they woul take back the other one so there would be no carriage charge.
Later on I was told there would be a carriage charge pf £150. Unhappy about that I remarked I would shop elsewhere, although I had no intention of doing so
Just a bluff to get that redicuously high charge reduced. It served s purpose and it was reduced to £50. After that I sent photos of scooter they asked for, to show it was in good nick and there was no mileage on the clock. I then waited to be told the other one I wanted was back in stock. Come August I emailed to ask if if was back in stock and was told I had cancelled the exchange . I hadn't and they had no proof I had. Since then I've had several run - ins with "seemimgly" juvenile management who is adamant I cancelled the exchange. Even if I had, but didn't cancel, what difference if I changed my mind? There was nothing stopping the exchange being reinstated. The exchange scooter I'd been waiting for wasn't due back in stock until August. And had I cancelled the exchange, common sense says I would have sent the one for exchange back weeks ago.
Green power management "seems" to me to be a
lead weight and bloody minded losing GP custom. I was warned not to have dealings with GP. Management "seems" to me to be a typical dead - beat jobsworth with no idea of management or customer relationship. I'm in charge and what I say "seems her attitude. Little wonder it "seems" G P are floundering and being given a WIDE berth.
Top G P management I've tried contacting with no success. Evidently management Ive been dealing with, high up in Green Powers Citadel of power, are 'sole"management.
Easier to win the lottery than to speak with anyone at G P who cares about how GP treats after sales customers or cares about "seemingly"'sub" standard management that "seemingly"are losing G P business hand - over ' fist.
Today Craig came with my new scooter. A very helpful man who explained everything to me. I spotted a small issue with the paint work which Craig dealt with on the spot. A wonderful delivery and I am a very happy man. Thank you Craig

Excellent service so far from Green Power .Took delivery or a New ZT500 yesterday which was delivered by Craig . The scooter was beautifully presented in its gleaming red colour. It seams to be very well made and of excellent quality . Finish is excellent and far better than I expected .
Craig was very kind and polite to deal with . He took time and care to explain the operation of the scooter and explained the the paperwork work fully. He made sure I fully under stood the controls , watched me while I drove it down the road and made sure I was happy with everything before he left.

Green Power Mobility made the process so easy from ordering my dad’s scooter to the delivery & demonstration of the scooter.
The person I spoke to when ordering over the phone was very helpful.
At delivery Paul the service engineer was very helpful, calm and patient while taking my dad & myself through the controls.
We would highly recommend Green Power Mobility.

I had a great experience from the moment I ordered all the way up to delivery and demonstration. I purchased the “fastest “ model. The technician, Marc, unloaded my scooter off the truck and did an amazing job at showing every component on the scooter and what buttons did what. He was very thorough. He also attached my phone holder for me, showed me how Bluetooth and mp3 player worked and went through all my documents with me. Thank you Marc for giving me a great experience and answering all my questions.

Our Mark Bates insurance covered a repair for my wife’s Greenpower Fastest scooter in Sidcup. Rob came from middlesborough to fix it and he was very efficient, friendly, and most interesting. Fixed in no time, and left me feeling impressed that you employ great people like Rob.

I have the model Falcon mobility scooter which has to be the most unreliable scooter on the market, the remote feature to open and close the scooter is constantly failing, at least three times since I purchased it, each time they want a call out charge to fix it of £95, this time they want to charge me over £200,dspite it only being repaired a few months ago. MY VIEW IS DONT PURCHASE THIS MODEL FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Terrible company. I had a scooter delivered in January. I’ve had nothing but trouble with it and the customer service is absolute rubbish. I had a black box put in in May, after reporting it in February and someone coming out then having to order the part. It took so long as you can’t pick a date, they give you one and if you can’t do it, hard luck. Your wait another 2/3 weeks before they give you another date.
I still have the same problem the scooter won’t go backwards, as it’s over 6 months old, it costs £95 before they even look at it, even though it’s the same fault. Worse thing I’ve ever done buying from this company, you do pay for what you get, in this case rubbish. They were quick to take my money and delivered quickly, after that if you have a problem forget it.
NO you do not charge for THE FIRST SIX MONTHS, after that no matter that you still have the same problem you won’t come out without the call out charge of £95Out Fee before you come out.
AGAIN GO WITH A COMPANY GIVES 12 MONTHS GUARANTEE AND WILL FIX THE PROBLEM

Rang the company to enquire about the BZ500 scooter, spoke to a really nice man called Jack who told us we could upgrade to a Unique 500 for the same price. He wasnt pushy or full of sales jargon at all. We decided to go for it and upgraded also to the lithium battery (extra £499)
After a few issues with delivery dates having to be rescheduled due to them having driver problems we finally had our scooter delivered 3 weeks later by Stevie. She (like Jack) was friendly, polite, professional, and talked us through all the features of the scooter. Although we couldn't actually charge it as they sent the wrong charger.
The lithium battery was under the seat in the storage area - bit strange we thought - with a hole cut for the wiring.
We asked Stevie if it could be put where the original 5 batteries would be and she did that for us as they're quite heavy.
We were like kids in a candy store.....
......then we started to notice things.
The wiring wasn't secured after the upgrade, there was no clamp for the 60v battery, it was just free floating.
Rang aftersales/customer services, sent them videos of the problems and they sent 2 strips of battery velcro (never heard of it)
They also said that WE had modified it by relocating the lithium battery and therefore the problems were down to us!?!?
We took the scooter to our local dealer for a once over and he was gobsmacked with what he saw and told my husband that if the battery had stayed under the seat in the storage area (unsecured) and chafed any of the unsecured wiring loom (no grommets or sleeving) it was a ticking time bomb under your ass because if lithium goes you'll know about it. He told us to contact them about their PDI (pre delivery inspection) procedure which i did.
After I told all this to Greenpower they said they would book a mobile engineer to put the battery back under the seat - in the storage area!!!!
I declined their offer and told them i have no faith in them whatsoever.
Jack & Stevie deserve 5* and customer services 0*
Therefore, the 2 stars for the review are 1 for Jack & 1 for Stevie.
The scooter is now running fine thanks to Matt (local dealer)
Im sorry to say that I found Greenpower customer services to be rude and abrupt in their correspondence, as I told the manager Rhe before receiving her backhanded apology,
Shame on your (lack of) customer service Greenpower. You are happy to respond to positive reviews, but please have the decency and grace to at least acknowledge when you get it wrong.
***Thankyou for your response, albeit being a little passive aggressive in my opinion.
Maybe for future reference in dealing with customers who have a negative experience you should adopt the approach of "Attack the problems, not the person"
ALL feedback should be reviewed professionally and not with backhanded insults and/or indirect hostility ***
Please have the courtesy to at least acknowledge a complaint with dignity and grace instead of sarcasm.
Kind regards,
Mrs J Holmes.

Ok read a lot of reviews , I had the retro trike , and now the newer Z trike , I would not buy from green power because of far to many bad reviews Inc one on YouTube where a pensioner smashed his green power scooter up with a sledge hammer because of poor customer service .
I was told that green power is a charity with it's base in Televiv Israel.
These scooters are Made in China and just rebadged as what ever . 35 /40 miles on one charge ? Yes is a lab with no hills & perfectly flat surface & at 4mph I would say if the scooter is set to 15mph, 8 miles is more realistic if you go flat out .
They come with Sealed lead acid 20amp Chinese Batteries
Battery chargers same mine got to 99% and kept going , result it burnt out my outside wall plug . The charger is dangerous after 99% as it won't switch off .
I never had any problems with my 60v retro trike apart from a very noisy trans axel .
My newer one is also starting to get noisy but I'm not worried as I do any & all repairs my self .
When mobility first came out they were 72v then 60v & now down to 48v odd thing is all 3 were advertised to 35/40 miles . My 60v retro one has the space for the extra battery & the frame marked 72v.
Another problem with these scooters is the electrics are totally open to water when it rains as there is no protection underneath,I'm shielding . mine . Handlebar switches are open to water or to much to do there but lube with a water proof spray & keep the scooter covered ,this UK it does rain a lot come winter.
I fix my own as parts & services from the dealers are mega expensive & who wants to be stuck without their scooter for weeks waiting ?
I took the Chinese batteries out of my scooter & got 22amp Lucas instead + they have finger grip mouldings easier to get out ,Chinese batteries don't have these holdings , &batteries are heavy & hard to get out a small space .
There is no copyright laws in China hence there are are a lot of knock offs about ! 😮
Tip one when looking at reviews of a company your looking to deal with , Don't bother with 3or 5 star reviews go to the 1 or 2 star ones as some companies pay people to give good reviews ,it's a known practice .
Buying a scooter ? Make sure the charger turns off when the battery is charged .
Remember 3 wheel scoosters are by design unstable if you have ridden a motorbike with a side car you would know .
4 wheel scooters are a lot more stable .
If you go to far the battery voltage ⚡ will go down and to save damage to the battery it has a cut off point so on reaching that it will cut out .
Never believe the claims of 35 / 40 miles they are based on a perfect level surface at 4 miles an hour with no head wind .
If you or someone you know has the skill sets to repair /service your scooter they can buy the parts a lot cheaper on line ,And there are a lot of parts out there .
A very helpful and courteous customer service team.
