Never having done lease hire before I was a bit dubious, but Lauren Reynolds made the process straightforward easy to understandand and got me exactly what I was looking for at a great price.

Poor Customer Outcome

Took a car on lease 4 years ago from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. They were great when buying but my experience on returning has been terrible. Be mindful of the amount of different companies you'll end up dealing with.

Car was financed by Nissan Financial Services which I've learned is the trading name of RCI Financial Services.

I've reached the end of my lease tomorrow 19th August. I've been trying to arrange inspection and collection of the car since late July. RCI FS seem to outsource this return process to Motorway. I've been unable to use the app to date. I've called RCI FS 3 times (often 30 min hold at least). I've called Motorway 5 times, always assured a resolution or callback. Neither happen.

I've now complained formally to Motorway and RCI FS (Or Nissan or Mobilize as i'm not sure who i'm dealing with).

Motorway responded, RCI FS yet to reply even though governed by Financial Ombudsman and are bound to respond promptly.

I'm still waiting an outcome. My experience has been terrible. Classic example of company's outsourcing to make things cheap but essentially they become less effective and lead to poor customer experience.

After calling RCI FS today to chase (again). They told me to ring another random company to sort it. Unbelievable.

I can nearly guarantee i'll end up being told i owe money of some kind, when this is entirely an issue of this convoluted web of companies who don't talk. If you value your time please avoid.

Been with Nationwide for nine years and now on for another three. Its so easy, Absolutely the best deal around. Tried matching the price on numerous websites, They were not even close. Trust Me they are the best. Neil

This time I dealt with Lauren who was excellent throughout. We were kept informed of delivery dates throughout and everything went very smoothly.

Very good service received and great to be able to chat with a real person to ask questions and discuss any issues. Our dedicated customer advisor, Lauren, was knowledgeable, clear and helpful. The car arrived in good time on a trailer driven by a friendly chap who gave us plenty of time to check things over and my wife is very happy with the car. Overall, an excellent experience so far!

The whole deal was sorted by Lauren Reynolds who took ownership of every step, made things very clear and responded to my questions the same day; she was great.
All the other staff I dealt with was great including the guy who delivered the car.

NVC price for my new lease car was better than most other brokers. I like it when they offer free metallic paint or have periodic offers. They have a better choice of mileage selections (e.g. 6000 miles pa) - some only offer either 5000 or 7000 miles pa). This is my second 3 year lease car via NVC. All has gone remarkably well - at every stage of the process. It was reassuring to deal with Lauren Reynolds (NVC Agent), who responded quickly and professionally from start to finish. All was calm and respectful.

Quick and easy experience throughout, Lauren was friendly and helpful and made everything go smoothly, including making a late adjustment to the payment terms before I signed, which was quickly processed.

She kept me well informed on delivery details, the general process and all other paperwork so it was basically just a flawless delivery of the lease

Absolutely fantastic journey from looking on the website to taking delivery of the car. Lauren and the wider Nationwide team have been really helpful. This is the second time of using NVC and it won’t be the last I’m sure.

From start to finish, the process was so quick which I really appreciated as I needed a new car asap. Lauren Reynolds was straight on the case and made the experience seamless through the entire time! I have used NW before and will be using them again.

Returning customer and service was great as usual. Lauren Reynolds was looking after me and went the extra mile to help me change my order from a car that was on order (dates pushing back) to something that was in stock, as I needed the car urgently. Great service. Our previous lease over ran by a few months, Lauren Reynolds sorted everything out, provided lots of clear communication to us. Overall a very positive experience.

Would NOT recommend this company.
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Had the most awful experience with someone by the name of Hollie. She was very rude, dismissive and downright awful to communicate with, which led me to tears!
Made a complaint and nothing was done about her vile behaviour.
In the end I had no choice but to cancel my order.
Reading the reviews shows conclusive evidence that this is a norm.
I have never written a review before but this was warranted.
Nationwide do better!

Recently I have used your company for a lease hire vehicle. I am very impressed with the help I have had to make this happen. Matt Kaplicz, Jamie Locke and Lynn have excelled themselves as they have helped me when completing the application. I found also that your company was fair priced and would recommend you to others who are looking for a lease hire vehicle.
