Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Avis 

Been waiting for an in stock vehicle to be delivered to the dealership for 8 weeks now and again have received an email putting the delivery date back a further 2 weeks. On the promise that this would be received mid March we have been without a vehicle for nearly a month as have back our previous lease vehicle. These delays are blamed on hold ups at the port which seems like a stock response. Not been offered any solution to this issue which is now becoming increasingly expensive having to ferry a family around on public transport or cabs. Will definitely be seeking advice as this shit show doesn’t show any signs of resolving itself.

I ordered a VW Golf GTI Clubsport in January 2026, being led to believe the delivery would be May 2026. Found out yesterday is more likely to be September.
I know Nationwide can't be blamed for the delay as it's down to Volkswagen's slow production. My issue is the communication has been shocking, I've had no updates, when I phone, I'm always on hold & once the call is answered, I'm still no clearer what's happening.
I've emailed the sales consultant Oliver multiple times & he never replies. I want to cancel the order, but obviously, I cannot speak or get hold of anyone who's helpful. I've leased cars for the last 15 years & this is the worst service I've received yet. You're better off going directly to your dealership, as you will have a point of contact rather than relying on emails that never get answered.

Very pleased with the service given.
The website made choice of vehicle easy, and was able to get the car and specification I required.

Found a great deal on a Nissan Juke, the site is worth keeping an eye on as they special deals on a variety of models that beat their competitors pricing.
The process to order was simple and they kept in contact during this time time with copious emails. I had reason to contact by phone and was met with a friendly, polite and professional reply from Lauren.

Took delivery of my Jaecoo 5 last week. Aundrae was super helpful, first of all ordering me an Omoda, which due to no fault of Nationwides, kept getting pushed back. After a while, and my decision to swap the car, he put this through extremely quickly, the car was ordered, finance done and car delivered within a week.

The issues I did have, Nationwide did their best to resolve and Dave handled my query brilliantly, speaking to the dealership on my behalf and ensuring a quick resolution to the problem.
