Your billing system is from the stone ages. My auto pay was shut off by your customer service and IT department in order to generate fictitious late fees. Called 16 times to get it straightened out and was not assisted, only gaslighted and argued with. Now you have one less customer in mahoning county ohio

Republic Services caught in vandalism. They have been turning around their heavy garbage trucks on my asphalt driveway entrance for a few years now. Completely spider web cracked it where it all soon be the mud hole it was when I paid thousands of dollars to pave it. I complained, they shrug it off. Then in December 2025 I have them on camera driving the truck all the way up my driveway and now causing that same level of cracking in my asphalt. Made complaint. They looked at it and then ghosted me. I sent an invoice for repairing the cracks. Now they respond saying they see no evidence. They see their truck parked on my driveway. They have it on their own video from the truck. But claim their 30 ton truck did not crack my asphalt which is suppose to hold 5000 pound vehicles. So a small claims lawsuit will be forthcoming as Republic Services is a company that vadalizes property and will not take responsibility even with video evidence.

One of the worst operated businesses I have ever paid to mess up the service they are contracted to provide. After 11 years I have given up . Switched to a locally owned operator. No thanks 0 stars !

Would give zero stars if I could. Absolute joke of a company.

I talked to republic about canceling my service and then 1 month later sending me a bill for 60 dollars. I HAD ASK IF THERE WAS A CHARGE AND HE SAID NO WE DO IT FOR FREE SO I SHOULD NOT HAVE A BILL NOW YOU HAVE A REALLY PI$$ED OFF CUSTOMER.

Missed scheduled pick-ups, call given a new pick-up day and now one shows, call again with a new date and no one shows up. Experienced this both on regular schedule pick-up recently and scheduled pick-ups. I don't believe a work they say and it doesn't matter how well training the people are on the phone to defuse frustration, just do what to commit to doing and you won't need so may customer service people.

Waiting for a trash can for two weeks when they took mine in error

Couldn't give a zero star so here we are. Missed pick ups so I had to call, and put bin back out again when they finally did come back. Price was ridiculous. Found another place for 1/3 the amount. But when I called all of a sudden after 4 pay increases they can match the amount of the new place. Why not offer a better amount instead of a increase if ive been a on-time paying customer? Would not recommend this place.

If I could give a 0 I would. We swapped out our dump for one with a lock bar. They told me I HAD to be onsite to accept the lock and keys. All I asked was that the driver give me a call in advance so I could be onsite (I manage the property). I was told on 3 separate occassion, by 3 separate agents that no problem, the driver would call.

Took the day off work so I could be ready. They switched the dump with no call. Made me waste the entire day. Then to compound the error, when the ops team did go to drop off the lock and keys, they still didn't give me call, so they just left the keys under the bin.

Complete clown show.

Horrible, just got started with this company(should have read reviews) took almost a week for the cans, then the next week was supposed to start picking up(that didn’t happen took a couple more days. After making several phones calls. Well this time they were supposed to pick up last Wednesday, didn’t happen (miss pick. WTH) so I have to wait until today for pick up, DIDNT HAPPEN BECAUSE MY CANS WERE NOT 4ft APART. I told the customer service lady I was never told that and they were the same as they were when they picked them up the only time. Please anyone who uses their services I wish you the best of luck 🤬

they dont even come half the time we are left with full bins, noone answers when we call.

I have Republic services in my town of Radcliff Kentucky and they ended up getting one side of the street on my street on my trash pickup day and they got the other three houses on my side but then completely missed everyone else including my house and this has happened before where they don't even come on the day they're supposed to to come and pick up trash we pay good money to have our trash thrown and get no explanation why they didn't finish their job so they do a half ass job and then their customer service is terrible so please Republic have another trash service bid on the contract that you're supposed to fulfill but you can't seem to fulfill it so have another company do it because you guys are terrible at your job!! If anyone else has Republic trash removal services please I implore you get another trash removal service unfortunately I can't because this is the only one in our area so we're stuck with a mediocre crap trash removal service

Worst trash service EVER!!! On the rare occasion they actually puck up the trash, they leave a mess. In July, they only picked up our trash once. In June they picked up twice. Then charge $40 for a "bulk" pickup because we had twice as much trash. When we called to say the "bulk" was from the previous week that THEY did NOT pick up, they lady said there was nothing she could do. So, we had the pleasure of over paying for a service we didn't get. Thank GOD we are done with them. I just switch companies. If you're looking for a trash company, keep looking!!!

I used Republic Services for years...until I became so frustrated with them, I finally said, "Enough!" Missed collections (picked up across-the-street neighbors' but not mine ??); horrible communication; bins just thrown willy-nilly for me, a senior, to have to right; cans hardly ever totally emptied.
I'll just take my garbage to the local convenience center. I can see from the low rating on most sites that I'm certainly not the only one who's frustrated with them!

Our complex has had their services for years, but our bad management by Greenway Realty Management has caused a huge mess, and now more dumpsters from other company so our parking lot is a huge trashy wasteland. This has been going on for years and I have plenty pictures.

My trash is not been picked up week after week and I have made multiple calls weekly. The drivers know that they don't have to do the pickups, and they don't. Whoever is in charge of operations is not on top of what's going on. My trash is in the garage, in my laundry room, a little bit is in my freezer. It is not however, wherever it's supposed to go after being picked up. All of this is worthy of a comedy skit, and I don't want to be in this show. Dates from July 7 to 24 2026.

This company is unreliable and most negligent regarding missed pickups. I'm in a condo complex with 2 entrances, a north and south off Bellaire Drive. Each entrance has 2 dumpsters so, 4 total for the whole complex. Invariably they will miss the north entrance and this happens a bit too much. I call out the management for not emphasizing to their drivers making them aware to NOT MISS PICKUPS.

the driver was inpatient and showed up to early to pick up our trash, He said he couldn't wait and wouldn't be back. We request them to come after 9 a.m to make sure they can get to the dumpster they are always showing up earlier and trying to charge us for not being able to pick up. This happens more times than it definitely should. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Republic Services needs to remove the word services from their name Literally are the worst company on the earth. They never do what they say. They broke my recycle cart and it took them months to fix it after reporting it more than 4 times. They would schedule a day and then never make it. They miss pickup and there is no way to get a credit for the week missed. This company must bne GOP because they hate people.

Too bad no Star was not offered. This company has THE WORST performance I had ever experienced!
Missed pickups, poor record keeping, inept customer service and accounting while constantly increasing costs and charging for everything possible including franchise fees.
It has taken me 2 1/2 months and numerous phone calls to effectively cancel my service.
My new provider’s cost is 20% of what I was paying Republic, same options and has a 5 star rating and 20 years in business.
