Despite making a telephone call prior to placing the order online I was advised that delivery would be 1-2 days and that the items were in stock. This was important to us to ensure a project was completed on time. Goods never arrived and no contact from you. Some items arrived in 3 days but the others 6 days. It is clear that you are sourcing the products elsewhere for them to then despatch them so you have no control over delivery. Also please don't reply with "we have no record of the telephone call". Thank you

The staff at Roofing Superstore were really helpful and gave me lots of advice. The materials were delivered on time and in perfect condition. I’ll be using them again.

Price and ease of ordering good. Delivery less good.

We ordered a roll of house wrap from Roofing superstore last week, the wrap is great thank you, my review is a bit of a mixed bag and our circumstances are usual, so I'll explain. We live on a remote island at top end of Scotland and they did deliver here, which is a big plus for them.

Things that they did really well...

Once dispatched the item made it from Plymouth in Devon to our door in just shy of 48 hrs, this is almost unheard of and actually hats off to the courier for this.

It was well boxed and a reasonable price.

Things that did not go so well.

It took a few days to get a quote for the extra delivery charge, during which my order didn't move from Devon. I think that this could have been a bit quicker. Once I had made the additional payment another couple of days went by before it was dispatched.

The cost of the postage was close to 100 pounds, which was I am assuming because it was sent next day delivery. This was a huge chunk of money for a rush that didn't have to happen. People on islands plan well in advance and would happily take a lower cost of delivery and accept a bit of a wait.

So yes a mixed bag, thank you for considering the islands as a delivery option, but maybe look at the cost. I can have a whole pallet of animal feed shipped here for half that delivery charge.

Terrible service!

Ordered for next day delivery… over a week later still waiting!!

Really not good enough, and even when I call chasing I am getting very little help or action!

Will not be using again!

Received a phone call this morning regarding an item I ordered only to be informed that the manufacturer had no stock and that they never an an ETA.

A few hours later I received an email from Alexnadra Dance stating that I would have my ordered items later this week.

Brilliant service in following up for me.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. The company advertised a delivery timeframe of 3–5 days for the polycarbonate roofing sheets, yet the actual delivery time was almost double what was advertised.

When I contacted them to ask whether the delivery could be expedited, the response was essentially that there was nothing they could do. There was very little effort to help or provide a solution.

As a result, I had to delay completing my project by two weeks, which was incredibly frustrating.

I can only imagine how much worse the situation would have been if I were a business with a client waiting for the work to be completed. Delays like this can have serious consequences for project schedules, costs and customer relationships.

If you cannot reliably deliver within 3–5 days, then do not advertise that timeframe. It is misleading and creates expectations that are not being met.

The disappointing delivery performance, combined with the lack of communication and willingness to help, has left me with a very poor impression of the company. I would have appreciated honest delivery estimates and a more proactive approach to resolving the issue.

Items said stocked 1-2 day delivery, then once sold and 2 working days passed, was told it’s out of stock 10 day delivery. Calling them is pointless you’re either stuck in a 2 hour queue or talking to a useless robot.
Deliveries were in 2 separate batches by evri (should not be used for window delivery I mean come on) and no notice so our clients were left with no warning of this large delivery.
The only reason we are giving 2 stars instead of 1, is by the grace of god nothing arrived damaged.

The items arrived on time, have been fitted and work well

I have placed a few orders with Roofing superstore and have been happy with the price, speed of dispatch and customer service. HOWEVER....

Roofing Superstores achilles heel is their choice of delivery contractor. Sadly, they have chosen to use a courier (DX) who in my experience is useless. (Cancelled deliveries and lost/ delayed consignments). The website of Roofing Superstore's chosen courier (DX Logistics) claims a trustpilot satisfaction score of 4.1. This claim is false. The Trustpilot website shows a score of 1.5 for DXLogistics and displays a warning that DXLogistics misrepresents its trustpilot score.

I recommend avoiding Rooofing Superstore until they change delivery contractor.

I phoned to make my order. I was extremely pleased with the service I received. Chap on the phone was patient while we discussed options etc and an order made very quickly. Will be sticking with ordering through these for the foreseeable. Great work
