Original order incorrectly placed by roofing superstore with velux. Received flashing kits and waited 2 weeks for roof lights. The small amount of compensation did not make up for the lost time on site and the rescheduling of labour.

I have delayed writing a review until now. I ordered a cut to size polycarbonate panel October 2025 to replace a damaged one in a run of four. Measure was critical as the panel was to sit between others with no room for error. It was very competitively priced and delivered well protected. For various reasons the panel has been idling for nearly a year but when I offered it up to the gap, it fitted perfectly. Obviously I had to get the measurement right but it was Roofing Superstore that did the cutting and it was spot on. Excellent service all round.

I do apologise about the delay with you receiving your refund, this has been actioned and we are reviewing our processes to make sure this doesn't happen again in future.
With regards to the window I cannot see that you have reported to us about the wrong window being delivered, however top hung Velux windows do have a centre pivot function for installation and cleaning so I wonder if this is what you mean.
If there are any problems with regards to the window please do email us with images and we can help with this.

Broken tiles - no refund
I ordered a small number of roof tiles for a roofing repair. They were delivered on 3rd September. Approximately 1/3rd of the tiles were broken. The tiles had been placed directly on to a pallet without any protection and were clearly not handled with the required care and attention.
I took photographs of the broken tiles showing the way they had been packaged and transported.
The next day I contacted Roofing Superstore and raised the issue. They asked me to send the photographs through as evidence which I did the same day.
A few days later I received an email stating that they would need to check with their supplier before a refund could be made. I have heard nothing since, despite chasing emails.
My contract is with Roofing Superstore, not their unnamed supplier. I have now made a formal demand for a refund for the broken tiles within 10 working days. Still no response.
If I do not receive a refund I shall have no hesitation in pursuing Roofing Superstore under consumer protection legislation for compensation as well as any costs associated with legal proceedings under the Civil Procedure Rules. I shall also report Roofing Superstore to Trading Standards.
Roofing Superstore's behaviour speaks for itself and I don't need to comment any further.
