Where have all the humans gone
Very frustrating experience being unable to speak to a human being. The company promotes itself with having the friendly face of customer service which it was at one time. Sadly it would appear, not any more .

I’m just not satisfied about the time it’s taken on my claim
I’m just not satisfied about the time it’s taken to pay out on my claim. I’ve been worried. Anyway I spoke to a v nice guy just now (can’t remember his name I’m afraid) who tells me the £120 has been paid. I’ve had no communication. The info given in the app is not up to date. This is not what I expect from yourselves. My claim was submitted on June 3rd!

It's disappointing to hear of your dissatisfaction with Simplyhealth.
Once a claim has been approved by us, it can take a little while to show on your online portal. As soon as it is paid, you should receive an email confirming this and the claim status is changed.
Simplyhealth strive to process claims as soon as possible and many are paid within five working days. There could be a number of reasons why a claim make take longer to process, such as us needing further information or higher than average claims volumes.

Do NOT bother trying to phone them…
Do NOT bother trying to phone them unless you wish to listen to inane noise for a long period of time. Simply Health will put up your premiums every year without informing you. Their payments for operation are extremely poor in comparison to other insurance companies. Try and cancel your plan even though they have not informed you of increases and you have a right battle on your hands. They lure you in on a rolling contract. Would strongly suggest you can find better insurance companies then Simply Health who behave more honourably then SH. Edited to add as can not respond to SH below. Have had several email exchanges with SH and to say they were less then helpful is putting it mildly. There is zero chance of me renewing with SH even though have been with them a large number of years.

Simplyhealth has a digital call handling assistant as well as a digital messaging service. Both services are available 24 hours a day and are capable of answering many queries in the first instance.

Never had any problem with them. Claims are always dealt with fairly ad repayments made quickly and efficiently.

trying to claim £85 for dental…
trying to claim £85 for dental emergency . Dentist needs to confirm the accident , very hard as dentist wasn't there !!!! supplied receipt saying dentist emergency but not acceptable now got to get dentist to confirm treatment I had in the emergency that's no easy task.
Feel like the policy not worth the trouble

Such excellent cooperation and service…
Such excellent cooperation and service from a member of staff of Simplyhealth has warmed my heart. When I told Molly about a claim I had posted with a first class stamp about 10 days ago she told me it hadn't arrived. Molly said "allow another 5 days and if it doesn't arrive I will email to let you know". Molly even agreed to accept scanned copies of my claim if it didn't arrive. On 4th June I did so.
On 5th June I spoke to Sam who confirmed my email was received. Within a very short time I got an email from Sam to it's now paid! Exemplary service.
