Slade's Garden and Building Supplies Avis

I live in the south east. I was looking for a particular type of paving slabs and couldn't find a local stockist with the quantity I needed. I hadn't considered looking further afield as I assumed the delivery costs would be prohibitive. My wife found Gills (Slades) online so I gave them a call. The lady I spoke to was extremely pleasant and helpful and explained how to place an order to qualify for free delivery. They even gave me a £10 discount as a new customer. I was kept updated on the delivery schedule and the order arrived, in good order, when they said it would. Most impressed.

Easy yo use website, good prices, fast delivery.

Kept in loop of delivery, brilliant tracker.

Delivery man so helpful and polite.

Great service and delivery

Very simple order process online and quick delivery from a local to me haulage company who put the pallet exactly where i wanted it.
Couldn't have been easier.

Ordered slabs - was told I would be updated when they were out for delivery. Got an email at 4am on the day of delivery to say they were arriving that day! Had to try and get day off work very quickly!

Delivery driver was lovely and helpful.

Product slightly thinner than the original slabs but thats a producer issue not Slades.

Easy to order online.

The best price online. I bought a full pack of 76 bradstone edale 450 x 450 pavers. They were delivered quickly with tracking information provided. Arrived on a tail lift truck well packed and secured on a pallet, strapped in place to prevent movement during transportation.
The pallet was put where I asked by the friendly delivery driver, he used a power assisted pallet truck which negotiated the slight slopes of my driveway with ease.

Right product. Good price. And my experience was of prompt, helpful, friendly delivery.

Unfortunately 4 were delivered cracked and they will not replace them, but other than that they look ok.

Arrived quick. Driver friendly and dropped the pallets in a great position. Order process was simple. Quality is perfect. Thank you

Absolutely delighted with the service provided, driver extremely helpful and delivered it as close as he could to my garden would 100% recommend and will definitely use slade’s garden again 👍

Great service, best price I could find run how a business should be run

The delivery was much quicker than expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

However, there was no confirmation of purchase or estimated delivery date. I only received an email on the morning of delivery, and it came under a different company name, which made me think it might be a scam.

If I had been at work, I could easily have missed the delivery as there was no prior notice. It also wasn’t made clear that a missed delivery would incur a £70 charge—I only discovered this on Trustpilot after becoming concerned about the lack of communication.

Clearer updates and upfront information about delivery schedules and charges would greatly improve the experience.

Thank you everthink is fine

Zoey was just fabulous and chased my order up, when the delivery company was messing us around with the delivery times.
Great price too. Would highly recommend

Very good company

I’m away on leave until August and haven’t seen product yet but delivery was excellent

Order my slabs, quick & easy.
Got told a delivery date.
Free delivery which was great.
Ordered on the Monday Evening, slabs were delivered on the Friday, I wasn't in but the slabs were left on my drive, securely bound on a pallet and a photograph of delivery,
Great service.
