Scammers. Didn't send my order and failed to respond to my email. Annoyed at myself for not checking here first.
Luckily Amex have refunded the money to me, so I don't need to try and chase these crooks for my money back!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Avoid at all costs! Initially, I was impressed by the website and products available/ promise of fast delivery. (The website is still there, they continue to take orders and are shambolic). I so wish that I had read the trust pilot reviews and gone elsewhere. I ordered on 29th December (£30+) and waited in anticipation for my delivery. Two weeks later I had an email saying that one packet of seeds was unavailable. I emailed back to ask for a refund (I did get this 9 days later) and immediate dispatch of the remaining items. I heard absolutely nothing until today, apparently the ‘remainder’(?) of my order has been dispatched. Let’s wait and see if they deliver…
The main problems are:
There’s no contact number for the company/ no customer service or care.
The use of Royal Mail 2nd class and the prediction that they will not deliver or there will be a delay is ridiculous.
Are they a genuine company or is the outfit merely a one person set up who cannot cope with the business?
I will comment again if the goods arrive.

Well, here’s an update- the correct order did arrive, which was a surprise. The ‘company’ does exist but they really do need to get their act together. I still wouldn’t recommend them unless you’ve got time and money to waste.

This company is a complete scam do not like others including me order and get nothing. Reported to bank and will also be reporting further.

Awful company. Took over 3 weeks to receive good which did not arrive in time. Returned goods over 4 weeks ago and company refusing to issue refund. Avoid at all costs!

Never sent order. Would reply to emails. When finally did, said shipped but never arrived. Tried to contact again but won’t reply. Scam company. Had to claim a refund via my credit card first direct who were brilliant.

I placed an order. The goods did not arrive and no reply from them when I queried the missing goods. Do not order from this company.
The bank arrange to reverse charge the transaction- be warned!

Very poor. Placed an order 3rd of December, didn't send until the 15th. Hasn't arrived in time for Christmas as they sent 2nd class. (Nice one) won't and would not recommend order from this company.

No delivery of goods and no reply from merchant. Terrible that they are allowed to do this

Heard nothing from the company after placing an order and having my money taken. Cannot get a reply via email - would avoid!

**update - since writing this review and making a complaint I have received a full refund so have changed to 2 stars**

A note for anybody else that doesn’t receive their order and is not refunded their money. If you paid for item using debit card, approach your bank and request a “charge back” for the transaction. If paid for by credit card, your card issuer should be able to help you recover the money.

I put in a review saying SCAM, £39.95 and never got the goods - Well i had to come back and say the goods finally did arrive. So definitely not a scam however it did take over 2 months and they didn't reply to any of my emails so they definitely don't help themselves when it came to bad customer service, none the less I felt i had to return and put things right.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Online website still taking orders and your card payments, but no goods arrive and no response from emails or contact details. They are local to me and are talk of the town and are NOT IN BUSINESS. They have turned off public comments on various forms media available to us, to alert other customers. Contacted Trading Standards - others need to do the same.

Terrible seed quality when they did eventually arrive.
I bought microgreen seeds from this company and they sent the wrong sunflower seeds and there pea seed has a very low germination rate and is covered with mold.

Seeds never arrived. Said they would send more, guess what never arrived and they stopped responding to emails

Placed an order for micro green seeds on 26-05-23 Contacted Sow Seeds (SS) to add extra items. They said to place a new order, and will cancel and refund the first order. Placed a new order on the 02-06. But the first order arrived. And the 2nd/new order arrived soon after. Emailed SS to arrange for DHL to collect the returned parcel. It finally happened on 15-06-23. Contacted SS on 27-06 with DHL E-Mail receipt of the returned parcel, SS said they have not yet received the returned parcel. It is now 05-07, 15 working days after returning the supposedly cancelled order, no refund and no communication from SS.

All the inquiries have to be initiated by customers and replies usually take longer than their promised reply date. It is the on-line seller with poorest customer services I have come across.

I ordered creeping thyme seeds as a lawn replacement, the seeds that arrived germinated & pricked out well, but were definitely not a creeping variety, growing up not out compared to others. On complaining I was told there are variables & my complaint would be kept on record. I replied by asking for it to be made good & was told no. Not a very good way to attract & maintain customers, even if it wasn’t their fault, offer compensation & the customer comes back another time. I will not use Sow Seeds again

My order never arrived and I had no response from their email or contact form. They have no number to contact them on, claiming they are too small to man a phone line. I have sadly lost my money on this now. Luckily it was only 3 packs of seeds.

I ordered several packets of seeds which arrived in reasonable time. Unfortunately I have had issues with the seed germination e.g I ordered a packet of fennel seeds and only 1 out of 50 grew which is hugely disappointing. The other seeds have faired a little better but it's a struggle to bring them on to healthy plants. I am an experienced gardener and followed the instructions properly so I would question the quality of the seeds provided. I contacted the customer service team to see if they offered a seed guarantee but have had no reply to date. Based on my experience, I wouldn't use them again

Ordered some green manure a month ago, which needs to be planted before the end of the month. Order hasn't arrived and have since had absolutely no response from customer services - with 3 emails sent over the last couple of weeks, and no phone number to speak to someone about it. Have had good experience with Sow Seeds before, but very frustrating to deal with if an order doesn't work out.

My seeds arrived with the packet damaged. I e-mailed to let them know and still haven't got a response nearly 5 days later.
