Tech showed at the appt time and toured home to
estimate the original quote. The original quote said there would be pretreatment on soiled areas and spot treat any spots, this step was not completed. Did not want to move any furniture. as he was cleaning he went so fast that he left the carpet soaked, which took until the next day to dry ( some spots over 24 hours) and when dry still had the soiled areas showing. Tile floors were sprayed with grout cleaner and gone over very quickly leaving a large amount of water on the floor. when dry after nine hours my floor qrout was clean in some areas and still dark in most areas. no sealer was applied although he claimed to have applied it. I left a negative review on the phone message and a supervisor call and i explained how I felt and he rescheduled a redo appt and the tech showed up took some pictures and got with his supervisor and decided that there was nothing wrong with the carpet or the tile grout. He said that he could redo the job if I would pay another $700.00 for the job. After a second bad review I have not heard from any one at the local franchise. I will not use again and will not recommend them to my friend or real estate agents that I know.

Stanly Steamer came out to clean my ducting throughout my house, They came with a big Stanley steamer vacuum truck but never used it to suck out the dust. They only used compressed air with a thin attachment that fit through the grates on the vent slits (they don’t even remove the vent covers (only removed the return vents) and a small hand held vacuum cleaner to suck up what was blown down the duct. They showed me what they were going to vacuum up but it didn’t seem like very much as this was the 1st time in 20 years that the ducts were cleaned and we have always had cats and dogs in the house. I looked up the vent after they left and it looked dusty and dirty to me. Plus I spent an additional $300 on an antibacterial solution that was suppose to give my home a clean fresh smell but when the heat kicked on it didn’t smell fresh or any different then it did before. I’m doubting that they even used it. WAY WAY WAY overpriced for what they did, it was a complete rip off!!! I reached out to them as I removed some of the vent covers and they are very dirty and I sent them pictures. They said that they would get back to me within 48 hours, its been over a week and they still have not gotten back to me. What a disgraceful business!! Would never recommend Stanly Steamer for duct cleaning.

Don’t waste your money on Stanley Steamer vent cleaning. They should have taped off all vents but didn’t - now I don’t have just more dust in my house everyday but I also have a sticky dust problem that I have to scrub off. I asked for a refund and they refused. I won’t ever let them back in my house again. I feel like they robbed me out of over $550. The date they came for service listed below may not be exact but close. It has been a sticky dust nightmare ever since they were here.

We have used Stanley steemer 4 times in the past 12 years to clean our tile in the bathroom ,shower floor, dining room and kitchen. We removed all of our furniture and rugs from the area . Upon arrival, they told us they are no longer allowed to clean showers. Why wasn't this disclosed to us when we called to schedule an appointment? I would have sought out another company. So that would mean the tile in the bathroom floor would be clean but the shower would remain dirty. I explained that we have always had this cleaned by their company in the past. They directed me to the manager who, to the workers' embarrassment, was rude and constantly talked over us, not really listening to our concern just reiterated they don't do showers. He passed the blame onto the girls who schedule the appointments saying it was their fault we weren't told in advance. End of conversation.
Long story short, Stanley Steemer no longer cleans showers anymore because they have had numerous complaints of unhappiness with the final results and its too time consuming. Beware of this company's deceitful practices. There are others out there that are willing to do the complete job on the bathroom.

The workers sent to do the job were very embarrassed and apologetic for the treatment we received and were very understanding about our being upset over having to accept a dirty shower in a newly cleaned bathroom.

After the rude treatment we received from the manager we have no interest in using Stanley Steemer in the future and have shared this with Stanley Steemer and all of our friends in the Villages, Florida.

When the technician came out to do the cleaning, despite having a quote, the cost was more due to the fact that they charge double for a bigger room because the square footage is 323 ft.² and if it’s over 300 then you get charge for two rooms. The actual cleaning was fine but the customer service stinks!

We called the Jacksonville Florida office and what a joke they are. Every time you call you get a different answer. It took them 4 days to get it somewhat right for two rooms mild water extraction for two small closets, and the second room they only had to clean. They wanted to charge me $778+ but brought the total down to $551.+ never offered a refund which is what they should have done. I feel we were treated very unfairly. They were called on December 18, 2022, and finished on the 22 of December. Very disheartening! They charged us for two humidifiers and we only had one.

The techs were excellent. listened to me and answered my questions. They even removed stains I had from my puppy. They were pleasant and professional. They came on time I received a message that they were on their way. they were here in 10 minutes.
I would definitely use them again for carpet and grout. The price was fair.

The Stanley Steemer technician arrived, knocked on the door and there was no answer (person at home was working in the rear office and did not hear a knock at the door.) I am the person that called for service. I am at work (off-site) today so, I provided the call taker with an alternate telephone number of the person at home (on-site) to allow them to access our home. The alternate telephone number was not called and the technician left property.

During the rescheduled appointment zero furniture was moved in order to clean underneath it. This has been my worst experience with Stanley Steemer and unfortunately, they have lost this customer because of it.

Today one of your representatives came out to clean an area rug that I have previously had cleaned with your company. The technician was rude and informed me that he could not clean this type of rug. even though it has a professionally cleaning tag and has been cleaned multiple times by your company. I called to complain with no avail the response was if he said it it's probably true. Which was an insult to me. I'd like someone to respond to the issue asap. Thanks

Thomas and Kyle from Fort Wayne were very professional and arrived earlier than I thought (a good thing). Explain what would happen and how long it may take. I would recommend these employees to anyone. Both were also very friendly and clean up after themselves. They both are a true asset to your company.

Our home remodeling took a bit longer to finish, so I called ahead to check if an extension of our coupons was possible, yes no problem. I called again the day before for the ducts cleaning service and everything looked good, they would honor it, which was of sort a pre-requisite to go ahead with the job.
Guess what it didn't happened, the crew next day refused to honor the arrangement.
I sent them off, period.
Unprofessional and shoddy business practice.
Do not recommend.

This was the worst service I have ever had.
The gal spent over hour talking on her ear buds,
Sat in service truck for over twenty minutes did nothing. Got here 220p and didn’t clean til 335p..
Then when she started she banged her equipment into
My log walls, water on my wood floor, wouldn’t give me a receipt or her name. Didn’t put spot remover on one little spot, broke my plastic heater vent, I am so disgusted. I have used this company over 20 years and never had employee act like she did.

Stanley Steemer arrived on time and did a fantastic job! The two gentlemen who did the work were very professional and friendly. My carpet is 6 years old and looks like new. I am very pleased and I highly recommend them.

My 74 yr old mother made an appt 2 months in advance, was quoted a price. When service ppl got there they ignored her quote, told her she would need extras. She told them she had a quote from customer service. The guy said he NEVER talked to customer service, didn’t even know who they were. From the time he walked in he was pushing for more money and was very passive/aggressive and condescending. My mother was alone, there were two men there. She finally negotiated down the price ( was quoted 700.00 for house) but she did not get two rooms done. Upon completion, my mother began to write a check and he said they do not accept checks. My mother told him that customer service said that she could pay by check or card. Once again, he lit into her with this “ I don’t even know who customer service is, we never deal with them but I’ve been working here (however many years, inject what sounds good to him) and we have never taken checks.” My mother said that’s fine, I’m just telling you what I was told by your company. By this time the atmosphere is chilly. He takes her card payment and with condescension dripping from his voice, tells my geriatric mother to “have a blessed day.” Ya, she was bullied, lied to, condescended, and now tell her to be blessed like it’s the last thing you want for her. I’m appalled and outraged at the treatment my mother received from this company. Needless to say, I will shout from the rooftops to anyone I come across to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Because as their own employee said repeatedly, they do not even receive the quote you get when you set your appt. They do not care, they are there to get the most money they can from you, no matter your age or actual need.

Jonathan cleaned our carpet and furniture this afternoon and it looks great. He was very nice, professional, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job.

I rate it one star! This company is the worse! My daughter hired them to grout and seal our bathroom and kitchen floors, since we are both retired and can’t do it ourselves. Well they arrived at 11:30 am, on Thursday 7/28/22 without the sealer and we’re told that we had to reschedule! I wish I would have listen to them, but I called my daughter, she got in contact with the company and they were sent back. Ok, my husband let them in and they had 2 big hoses and a roll of paper along with a beat up sheet to protect my floors! Not only were they unprepared, but they were the messiest crew ever! My husband had tarps in the basement and placed them under the hose in the dining room and foyer. So far is a nightmare, but it gets worse! Not only did they mess up my kitchen floor but they also messed up my hardwood floors! Well to make this part short they did a very bad job on all my floors and I still had to pay them $554.66!! We ask the young man when will the film leave the floor and he told us that within a half hour use a swifter and I could even use bleaching if spots don’t come out! I was livid after that I called every number I could find for Stanley Steemers and got nowhere they told me that my complaint was number one and that someone should’ve had called me before 9 PM no one called me I called back at 9 am the next morning the and they told me that they would have somebody here by Saturday unacceptable my floors were horrible, I just paid for a service that was botched up and I was told that a Specialist would contact me. They finally did and sent somebody out around 3:00 pm, he looked at the shotty job and still was insisting that it was done right!! After a few minutes of seeing the floors and pics, he did a patched up work and left the floor the same way!!! I went on Google and asked what can I use to take film off my ceramic tile floors I read an answer which said the use 50/50 vinegar and water. I had to get on my knees and scrub all my floors twice and finally got the film off! Now I need to find out how to get my wood floors shiny again! I can’t believe i went through all that hassle and do all that work after I paid $554.66 someone to do the job. DO NOT USE THEM! Save YOUR MONEY! I wish I would have read all the reviews in TrustPilot before hiring them. I hope they read they and contact me! I’m disputing the charges!

I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY 7/23/22 ONLINE, RECEIVED CONFIRMATION AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!!
I CALLED THE LOCAL NUMBER ON CRYSTAL DRIVE IN FT MYERS AND THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. I STAYED HOME FROM WORK TO GET THIS DONE BECAUSE I HAVE COMPANY COMING...DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY

I pleasantly pointed out to the tech an area of concern outside of a chair mat border before starting.

Afterward he asked me if everything was okay and I pointed out the apparent line still there and asked if he could go over it again. He became incensed and said that walking occurred outside that border and he’s been doing carpets for 15 years and knows what he’s doing. I said I understand but asked if he’d go over it one more time. He because argumentative and again stated that he know best after 15 years. I explained that I paid over $650 for essentially an hour’s work on three rooms and that that I’m the customer making a request. I stayed that I’m not looking for an argument because he asked and I requested. He grudgingly headed toward the room and in an aggressive way asked if I wanted to watch him.
Trying to de-escalate, I said no that I do not need to watch because i know he’s going over it again. He called me into the room to inspect and it did look a bit better to me:
He again threw to me that he’s been cleaning carpet for 15 years and he knows what he’s doing. I explained that I appreciate him going over again but I wasn’t looking for an argument. I usually tip, but not this man.
He acted like he didn’t want to be working.
Poor value, poor experience…never again and no recommendation to others. Too bad because I used this company in the past.

We hired Stanley Steemer to clean living room, dining room carpet, then hallway, kitchen and bathroom grout and two area rugs. The high traffic area is from the front door straight to the kitchen. Cost was close to $500.
The tech named Calvin was personable. However, once the job was completed the high traffic areas was just a little bit lighter but as if I had try to clean it myself and the low traffic areas surrounding the where the area rugs were didn’t get clean enough to match the clean carpet that was under the rug. I was so disappointed. I couldn’t even sleep. I looked back on the website and saw the guarantee. I called and no hassle whatsoever they rescheduled immediately. Only thing is they assigned the redo to the same person, Calvin. He called me and was quite indignant! He told me nothing better could be done and that I needed new carpet! Then told me to call Stanley Steemer and tell them he wasn’t coming back! I told him to call his own boss and tell them that. I did call back, they were very empathetic and apologetic and sent a team, Mark and Keion. They came in inspected, took pictures and got to work REDID EVERYTHING. When the completed the job EVERY INCH was the same as the untouched carpet that was under the rugs! The high traffic area that the original team said could not get clean was cleaned by Mark and Keion!!! The carpet was as I thought it should have been in the first place. If any one asks my opinion I will tell them to request Mark because he seems to be seasoned, experienced and customer service oriented. I appreciated the fact that he did not treat me as if he and his partner didn’t see what I saw. I can also say that the office was friendly and gave zero hassle about rescheduling in a timely fashion but I will only use them again ONLY if Mark is available and will tell my friends and associates the same. I had stanley steemer come to my house and clean 4 rooms i had to do a walk around well the carpet was wet and it didnt look too bad when it dried you could see where the dirt path was they went so fast it took less than 1 hr to do 4 rooms i got out my carpet cleaner the next day and did a little where they had done the water was the color of a mud puddle not happy at all wont call them again they was suppose to send me a copy of my payment and never did
