Great customer service. Very helpful and knowledgable.

I was told there would be a £300 shipping charge due to my postcode (AB10 6HU) and there wasn't anything that could be done about it as the units were manufactured in Middlesbrough. I found another supplier that charged £15 for delivery of an identical unit - be very careful if they try and charge more than this if you live in an easily "accessable" area.

I have had a reply from the Rooflight Company, it is my mistake, the review was meant to be for the Rooflight Centre - I am sorry that I referenced the wrong company in the review, my mistake and thank you for pointing out my error.

This company is appalling, customer service is disgusting and product is not fit for purpose. i regrettably purchased Neo Roof lights for a loft extension. It is one of my biggest regrets. After less than one year of insulation the windows do not open. i reported beginning of December 2022, it's Know January 23 and still problem not resolved. I am informed that the gas struts have stopped working and to add insult to an appalling service i am now being informed that there is only 1 year guarantee . (what company only offers 1 year on products that cost thousands) clearly they are not confident in the product .When i reported the problem, it was just over a year from purchase, although product had only been insulted for 11 months. I am being told that not only is there a 3 month waiting for an engineer to come out, that i am going to be faced with further costs. Although i have requested that The Roof light Company should cover this under product not fit for purpose, i have been left hanging and still waiting for outcome. The roof light company are suggesting they are unable to at this stage offer me proposal of cost, as they are still waiting for costing for the struts, 2 months on. They don't respond to emails, i am constantly phoning to try and get resolution and constantly getting mugged off with constant excuses of waiting for costs, can't get an engineer visit for 3 months, currently after 2 months i can't open my windows and as we speak i am still in the same position. Not only would i not recommend, i would suggest avoiding at all costs

After writing this review, The Roof light Company have come back to me with what appears to be a positive solution and have agreed to supply the parts and engineer visit for free

We had three Neo electric roof lights installed in our new home. Within 12 months the internal casements had all cracked and one of the motors had stopped working. We reported the problem in August 2021 and it wasn’t resolved until March 2022. We registered all three roof lights for an extended 5 year warranty at the time of purchase. In November 2022 the same roof light which was fixed in March of that year has now stopped working again. The fault has been diagnosed as faulty gas struts which I’ve been told are actually not covered under the warranty. These roof lights are expensive and the service we have received is just not acceptable. We are still waiting for a response a month later after being palmed off on many occasions by email. For the reasons I have stated I would not recommend this company as we are very disappointed and feel let down after the glowing reviews they claim to have received particularly in regards to customer service.

The roof light company have now contacted me and agreed to supply the gas struts free of charge.

I fitted a conservation roof light many years ago which has proved v satisfactory and appeased the conservation gods.
Went back recently to change the closing mechanism from a winding handle to a hook and long winder. Found staff v helpful in identifying appropriate fittings and even when we got the first attempt wrong all was sorted quickly and without fuss.
In every team there is one weak link so good performance lost one star due to person whose phone was always engaged and never responded to messages.

Not a great experience. We tried on numerous occasions to speak to someone to get support but no-one ever called back.

The wrong installation instructions for the products we purchased were provided and, despite a request that did get through, the correct ones never arrived.

The motors are unsightly and VERY noisy.

The blinds don’t really work on motorised window as you can’t close them below the motor so a waste of money.

A very disappointing experience all round and we certainly wouldn’t recommend these products

Very helpful service! The roof light company supplied attic roof window and I ordered a made to measure blind to fit.
I was very happy as any other blind would have proved difficult to get a good close fit that looked right.
They were true to there word and took about a month to arrive. Well packed and easy to follow instructions on fitting 😊
I would highly recommend as the blind fits well as can be for the roof light window.

I recently contacted the roof light company to get replacement seals for our windows. They were unfailingly polite and helpful and delivered the seals promptly. Excellent customer service

We bought a home in a converted church with roof light windows which an only be cleaned with a cherrypicker at vast expense. We were very dismayed to find that your company discontinued the specialist cleaning device and despite a request did not send any recommendation about alternative devices on sale

New house has conservation rooflights & also a competitors. Conservation are awkward to use, noisy opening mechanism & now find a blind will cost £250 (the competitors was £90, rooflight is easy to use & silent) Would reccommend you stay away!

I would have given one star, but to be fair the product is actually ok. However customer service is appalling, I would go in to detail, but there's so much of it I just don't have time. Judging by some other reviews I might have just been unlucky, but I will certainly not be dealing with this company again

Great product and first class customer service.

Windows not fitted yet but would like to comment on the delivery. We had been told that the delivery department would get in touch with us a week before delivery to arrange a suitable day. This did not happen, all we got was an email saying the windows would be delivered the next day and it gave us no chance to change or make any comment. Just luck that we were around the next day. This should be improved on.

Nothing wrong with the product.
The delay was shocking and the updates verging on negligent, explanations for the delays were not believable.

As we live in a Conservation area the Conservation range fit within the height restrictions and we are very pleased with the look inside and out as well as the quality. We decided after fitting to add winders and the Customer Service department were outstanding with advice and placing the order.
The fitter threw all but two Warranty documents but the CS came to our aid and registered all five units. I have no hesitation in recommending The Roofing Company.

The product was good and delivered on time
