Safety risk glass fragments in compost sold
I have emailed customerservice and info on Sunday, and Tuesday and still no reply. I have also reached out to Eoin O’Conner on LinkedIn today in hope to bring this to his attention over message to address a safety concern regarding sharp glass fragments mixed throughout compost sold endangering users. I am loathed to have to use this platform to gain awareness but I’m concerned for the community and anyone else who may use this product especially with young children in the garden. Please take action to investigate this and protect our community.

Ordered and paid online. Item not stock.
I ordered online from the Rathkeale for collection. Website showed that there was 5 of the item in stock so I ordered & paid for them. Arrived at the shop the following afternoon and it turns out they actually have none! Why tell me you have stock and take my money & then have none. Staff very friendly & helpful and I will happily continue to shop in the physical shops. However it is 2026, inventory management is a well sorted problem and it is not good enough anymore to take money for stock you don't have.

We’re currently reviewing our stock synchronisation processes to improve accuracy between online availability and in-store inventory, as situations like this are not the experience we want customers to have.

I ordered a Kärcher SE 4001
I ordered a Kärcher SE 4001, but received a Kärcher SE 4 instead. The delivery was also delayed by nearly a week. Because of this experience, I would not purchase from this company again and would not recommend them to others.

If I could give no stars I would. Don't bother ordering anything for delivery. There online service will calculate delivery which is fine but when you have it all paid for and waiting delivery they will contact you and try to charge you more or cancel order. Con men.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but we do need to address a few points.
You were initially charged €55 at checkout; however, as clearly outlined on our product pages, category pages, shipping terms and conditions, and again at checkout, this is not a final delivery cost for bulky items outside our area.
Your order included multiple tonne bags of building materials along with lengths of timber. These are heavy, oversized goods that required 6 pallet spaces with our external courier. Once confirmed, the delivery cost came to over €300, exceeding the total value of your order.
Given that delivery costs were not feasible at that cost, the delivery was cancelled. You were offered the option to proceed by covering the full delivery cost or to collect the order instead once you made contact with us.
We are transparent about our process at every stage, and while you are entitled to your opinion, describing this as dishonest is not accurate.
We wish you the best going forward.

I understood when I placed the order that delivery would be made within 3 days, unfortunately it took 12 days for delivery and while I might have been OK with that myself, my Tenant was very annoyed obviously with me, although it was outside my control.

Great service & quick dispatch
Great service, quick despatch & item well packaged. Rug is beautiful, bright & fresh for the spring & absorbs the moisture from shoes coming in from all the rain. Washable mat makes it easy to keep too.

Wonderful service
