Had a conversation with Jean today…
Had a conversation with Jean today (through email) to sort out my account due to the merger between Disclosure Services and uCheck.
I had an outstanding credit on my old account and uCheck (Jean) sorted it out no bother and sent me a link to asssit with getting at least 10+ of my team initially E/DBS checked.
If Jean is the standard of service uCheck provide then I will be a happy Director.

A complete waste of time
A complete waste of time. I was looking for a company to carry out credit checks for my subcontractors and came across ucheck. It seemed like it would do the job so I tried getting one check done before asking for the relevant info from all the subcontractors. I am glad I did because I started the process at the end of April and 2 months later the actual checking part hasn't even started yet. I've been asked to approve the application a number of times which I have done yet I'm still being asked to approve one thing or another. Total time wasters.

Good Morning Stelios,
Thank you for providing those additional details, it's really helpful and has allowed me to take a closer look at your application.
I can see that the check you've applied for is an Enhanced DBS application rather than a credit history check. Before we can countersign and forward it to the DBS for vetting, we do need to establish eligibility for the level requested, as it is a legal requirement that the role qualifies for the check being applied for. It's also important that the correct workforce and regulated activity selections are made based on the nature of the role and where it is being carried out.
In this case, there are a few changes needed to get the application processed correctly. Unfortunately, between 27/04/26 and 01/07/26 we left several notes requesting further information, but on each occasion the application was reapproved without the required changes or a response to our queries.
I completely understand that being asked for additional information can feel frustrating, and I appreciate your patience. These checks are in place to make sure everything is handled correctly and legally, and to avoid any unnecessary delays further down the line.
It's also worth knowing that if you have further applications to process in future, we can add additional details to your account to reduce the likelihood of these questions arising again.
