Despite the frustration of an unscheduled power cut due to storms, we were kept updated throughout the process of restoring power. Not really sure what more we can expect.

Up to date information, carefully explaining what had happened and what was being done to rectify the problem.
Was actually much quicker than expected.

Human interactions, didn’t feel automated. Updates very regularly so I was clear what was the problem, what power networks’ engineers were doing, and when the power cut was expected to be resolved, along with updates on challenges they encountered in the process of fixing. No need to call them. Just ask for updates by text and they’re all over it! Is quite brilliant customer service in my view.

It makes such a pleasant change to speak to a company that deals with your query directly and does not jut keep passing you from pillar to post or promises you a call back that never comes. Martin dealt with my query straight away and got straight back to me as soon as my application had been approved. I have dealt with UKPN in the past also for an incoming mains upgrade and once again found them extremely helpful and efficient.

Really pleased with the service from UK Power Networks. Called in a panic after our electrical inspection flagged an issue, right in the middle of selling our house. Matt took my call first and was brilliant - calm, reassuring, and actually explained what was going on instead of just logging a fault and leaving me guessing. Made a stressful situation much easier.

The engineer who came out was equally good - thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly explained that we have a looped SNE earthing setup rather than PME. Confirmed the supply was fine and no further action was needed, which was a huge relief for the house sale.

Great to get straight answers from people who clearly know what they're doing. Big thanks to Matt and the engineer - much appreciated.

We recently had an unplanned power cut. Found it very easy to report and impressed with the updates.
Fault was dealt with quicker than predicted, very positive experience- in spite of the incident!

We cannot praise UK POWER NETWORKS highly enough. Every person we had dealings with was fantastic, highly skilled & professional.
From my initial email after realising we had no power we was contacted within an hour & a generator was brought to us so we had electricity over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
The repair was put right on the Tuesday.

The pre-work requirement survey was quick and accurate. Scheduling and communication were effective and accommodating. Technicians were punctual, polite and tidy and they even went the extra mile that helped us avoided the work we thought the energy supplier would complete.

My wife relies on having an oxygen compressor at home. Recently we experienced a power outage which was caused by a set of contractors hitting a line.

I was very happy with UK Power-networks response to this as they resolved our power loss in about a minute by redirecting power from elsewhere.

We then received a full message from that explained what had happened and how they resolved it so quickly, it’s fantastic service and stops us worrying if it happens again.

A week or so ago the power to our home and our neighbours house went off at 2030pm, i called to report the issue the man on the phone "Jake" was very helpful and logged a case he explained my neighbour would have to call about their house which was frustrating as we both had no mobile signal where we live so couldn't call until I managed to go to another neighbour to use his WiFi to call from my phone. Later that evening a lorry turned up and some checks were made. It was determined by 0200am that the road had to dug up. We asked for this to be done in the morning. The work was carried out and by 12:30 the next day power was restored. Although it was 15 hours + without power I can't fault UK power networks, we had regular updates once I had a phone signal the next day when I was at work and we had a follow up call to check how things were once power was restored. We received some compensation which I will point out we never asked for so that was a nice surprise. Well done to the workmen and customer support staff especially "jake","Yvette" and "Doreen" for all of their help, thank you 😁👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was super fast .. & very efficient..

Quick to respond to our power cut and supply us with a diesel generator but … and there is a but… it is almost a month with the generator and it makes all the timers (for water heating etc) run fast so every other day we have to reset the clocks to ensure that the water heater and filtration system run overnight. There is also the constant noise of the generator…

We had a complete power failure on just our house within three hours we had a generator in the driveway supplying electricity for the night the problem was fixed by midday very good very efficient
