Service is excellent. I have had three different deliveries over the last month and all have been perfect. The delivery staff have always been polite,helpful and happy. They place the items where you need them, remove all the packaging and check for any faults. You couldn't ask for a better service.

Absolutely excellent. Delivered my wardrobe to the desired room and very jolly despite an early start for them. Very careful in their delivery, five star service!

The delivery experience was fine but at no time do I remember Roseland (who I ordered from) telling me that my furniture was to be supplied by Welcome Furniture. Their SMS method of communication/confirmation also leaves much to be desired. Despite my replying "No" to their SMS delivery slot, they turned up anyway and asserted that I had agreed to this slot which I had not. It's just as well that it all worked out ok and the furniture - (sold by Roseland? Welcome Furniture?)is very nice.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!

Order placed with The Bedroom Shop, 25/4, for 2 x bedside lockers, vanity unit, stool. Purchase price £714.96. It transpires that it is all manufactured / supplied by Welcome Furniture.

I live alone in a one bedroom, ‘two up two down’, work full time and have very limited opportunity to take days off. Changes to my work schedule are impossible. I had fully cleared my bedroom to allow for decorating, new carpet and the new furniture, contents of the old furniture being stored in boxes.

20/5, all four pieces delivered. Packaging on two pieces was inadequate. One bedside locker smashed completely. Vanity unit had indents on the edges and was marked on the top. Delivery drivers tried to hurry me as I inspected each piece, couldn’t care less about the damaged items, (they are employees of Welcome Furniture), tried to make me feel like I was the problem. Damaged items rejected and The Bedroom Shop manager Claire immediately.

Replacements arranged, delivered 26/6. More disappointment finish on the top of replacement two drawer locker was bubbled and raised, side of vanity unit was chipped, more inadequate packaging. Delivery drivers tried to rush me to inspect the items, were unsympathetic and one even implied that I was too fussy! No image of chipped vanity unit as was only partially unpacked, delivery driver took it back to the van in a strop when I rejected it as if it was my fault. Notified Claire immediately. Replacements arranged, asked Claire to tell Welcome Furniture that a supervisor needed to ensure full quality control inspection, additional packaging and delivery drivers to take extra care. Claire advised she stressed this to Welcome Furniture.

15/7, third time lucky, sadly not! One delivery driver wouldn’t come into my home as I had a cat. This left the other delivery driver and I to take it upstairs to my bedroom, he wouldn’t take his trainers off to protect my new carpet. Despite again not being packaged properly, let alone any additional packaging, replacement bedside locker was fine but bottom drawer of vanity unit was loose, rattled around and wouldn’t close properly. Vanity unit rejected immediately, Claire notified, replacement arranged.

31/7, finally accepted fourth of the four pieces I had ordered three and a half months earlier.

I requested what I believed to be reasonable compensation, (£150, less than 25% of the total cost) for the ongoing disappointment,
inconvenience of not actually having the furniture when I should have, also having to arrange and be present for repeated delivery dates at great difficulty. Claire passed my request to her senior manager who only offered a miserly and unacceptable £50 off any future purchases of which there will be none as I wouldn’t need to replace any bedroom furniture for many years and I would never order from them again anyway.

Appreciating my contract was with The Bedroom Shop, I did contact Welcome Furniture and attempted to get some satisfactory resolution from them, all I got was an insincere apology.

In summary, quality control from Welcome Furniture was non-existent, customer service at higher management level from The Bedroom Shop was sorely lacking, the Welcome Furniture delivery drivers were unprofessional, rude, unhelpful and completely unsympathetic to the repeated problems I experienced.

I had no idea of the connection between The Bedroom Shop / Welcome Furniture, the poor Google rating and associated reviews would have stopped me in my tracks from placing an order. How are they even in business?

Only shining light in all this was Claire from The Bedroom Shop who did her best throughout.

As for their senior management, they ended up accusing me of blackmail and extortion when I told them that I would be writing a factual and honest review of my experience.

My bedrooms drawers are beautiful and well worth getting ready assembled. Can’t recommend them enough

Absolutely fantastic service. Kept me informed all the time. Even rang the evening before to confirm delivery time. And the icing on the cake was the two professional, friendly young men who delivered the heavy items to my door and straight upstairs to dressing room. Excellent service.

Beautifully crafted furniture arrived fully assembled and very well protected by cardboard packaging. Would thoroughly recommend these items
