The 635mm deep oak worktop was…
The 635mm deep oak worktop was perfectly fine and flat. The 720mm one was definitely cupping. I decided to plane the underside flat on the parts that would be on contact with the kitchen cupboards underneath. Now seated down quite well. The 720mm top still has about a 2mm cup along the centre, which is barely noticeable and might actually be handy with a spillage.
Delivery was great.

We are pleased to hear that the 635mm deep oak worktop arrived perfectly flat and that you were happy with the delivery service.
We are sorry to hear that you experienced some cupping with the 720mm worktop. We appreciate you taking the time to make the necessary adjustments and are glad to hear that it is now seating well and that the remaining slight cup is barely noticeable.
We take the quality and stability of our solid oak worktops seriously, and your feedback is valuable in helping us maintain and improve our standards.
Kind Regards,

Good quality and prompt
I only had a small addition to make to our kitchen. I needed to use the bespoke service - and found that the process was just as easy and as much care taken as for a larger order. Everything was completed really promptly and delivery was also prompt and well communicated.

Worst experience
Worst experience! Spent £750 with this company on solid oak worktops, the 2m is a different shade to the 2x 3ms, the 3ms both arrived damaged.
I have the joiner booked tomorrow and all they can offer is a replacement or 10% discount, don’t care about how much money I’m going to lose due to their incompetence.
EDIT: They’ve left a comment saying I refused a replacement, I haven’t. I’ve refused to be out of pocket from them - avoid this company, when something goes wrong they are just simply rude and unprofessional.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with the resolution offered.
We would, however, like to clarify that we offered to replace the affected worktops at the earliest available opportunity, which was two working days from when the damage was reported. Whilst replacement is the appropriate resolution, you advised us that this option did not align with your pre-arranged fitter’s appointment.
In an attempt to accommodate your requirements, we also offered a 15% partial refund as an alternative resolution, should you prefer to retain the existing worktops and proceed with the pre-arranged installation. Whilst this is not a resolution we are obligated to provide, we were happy to offer this goodwill option to help minimise the inconvenience.
We are sorry that the options offered did not meet your expectations, but we remain satisfied that the matter was handled appropriately and that reasonable resolutions were offered. Both options remain available.
Best Regards,
Worktop Express
A truly customer-centric company
Worktop Express are a first-class company to deal with. The support given over the phone was friendly and well-informed. The order process was simple and straight-forward and the delivery was extremely fast with the worktops arriving exactly within the 2-hour window given. I was even able to track the progress of the vehicle, on its way to me.
I would thoroughly recommend Worktop Express to anyone.
