Worst experience! Spent £750 with this company on solid oak worktops, the 2m is a different shade to the 2x 3ms, the 3ms both arrived damaged.

I have the joiner booked tomorrow and all they can offer is a replacement or 10% discount, don’t care about how much money I’m going to lose due to their incompetence.

EDIT: They’ve left a comment saying I refused a replacement, I haven’t. I’ve refused to be out of pocket from them - avoid this company, when something goes wrong they are just simply rude and unprofessional.

Worktop Express are a first-class company to deal with. The support given over the phone was friendly and well-informed. The order process was simple and straight-forward and the delivery was extremely fast with the worktops arriving exactly within the 2-hour window given. I was even able to track the progress of the vehicle, on its way to me.
I would thoroughly recommend Worktop Express to anyone.

Speedy delivery.
Worktop was wrapped well, a boon as it had to stay outside for a day in Welsh weather. Worktop (marble effect) has a textured feel to it, rather than being shiny/slippy. Not a silly price.

Extremely disappointing experience with Worktop Express.

We purchased a worktop which subsequently developed significant swelling/lifting. When we raised this as a potential product-quality issue, Worktop Express relied on the manufacturer's assessment and ultimately refused to accept responsibility.

What makes the situation particularly frustrating is that the manufacturer attributed the damage to moisture, despite the circumstances surrounding the installation. **At the relevant time, the property did not even have water access**, making their explanation extremely difficult to reconcile with the actual circumstances.

We also confirmed that a moisture- and water-resistant barrier had been applied around the sink cut-out, and this information was provided to the manufacturer. Despite this, Worktop Express simply repeated the manufacturer's conclusion and closed the claim.

The issue for me is not just the refusal of the claim, but the complete lack of meaningful investigation or ownership from the supplier. When a product fails, I would expect the company that sold it to properly investigate whether there is a product-quality issue and make a genuine effort to resolve the matter.

Instead, we were essentially left with a manufacturer assessment and a refusal to engage any further.

Very poor customer service and, in my view, a disappointing failure to stand behind the quality of the product they supplied.

I was a little anxious about ordering a work top, however, it was a really simple process. Delivery and packaging were great. The work top is now oiled and insitu and looks and feels brilliant.
