Good service from start to finish
Good service from start to finish. Straight forward and reasonably priced. Work completed in the time frame indicated in the original quote. Good communications. The fitters did a nice job and left the house on a good state too.

Great windows!
We are really pleased with the service provided, the team at Yorkshire Windows are personable and easy to get hold of to answer queries. Darren, and apprentice Finn, fitted the windows over 3 days in pretty awful weather conditions, and whilst it’s nerve wracking seeing your old windows knocked out, the finished flush sash windows are just as we’d hoped & look lovely. I’d recommend Yorkshire Windows to others.

Smart secondary glazing
Yorkshire Windows supplied and fixed smart secondary glazing to an original square bay that was beginning to show its age through poor insulation. The preserved bay retains its coloured glass top lights which would have been difficult to replicate had the whole frame been changed. Surveyor Nathan well understood the issues and reassured us that secondary panels could be easily removed for cleaning while installer David did a thorough job of fitting and sealing the units despite bay framework being a bit out of true. Whole job took longer than it should because of supplier difficulties but Yorkshire Windows kept us informed of progress.

New prefect patio doors!!

Super pleased with the whole house refurb of windows, doors and bi-fold. The finished article looks fabulous and really suits the style of house.
the highlight however was Darren, the fitter, who provided such excellent customer service and workmanship, always going the extra mile, (including some late nights), to ensure we were satisfied with the end product. Thank you!

They have been very helpful resolving a technical issue with an old (5yrs) door albeit it took a while to get there. Would recommend the company

Customer focussed sale/ order and fitting.
From quote, to survey, manufacture and fitting we were kept informed. Experienced excellent workmanship and customer service. The fitters ( Turkey Bros) left the house cleaner than they found it, and did a great job and kept us informed throughout the day with windows which were difficult to remove.

Faultless Door installation
Mal who came out to view the door needing replacement was very helpful and the suggestions he gave me ensured I didn't make any unwise choices, so that was good. David who installed the door with an assistant did a much better job than the team who fitted the old one 20 years ago, from another company. I am very pleased with my experience of Yorkshire Windows.

Ghosted!!
We were recommended to use Yorkshire Windows by friends who had their whole house of windows replaced by them. After getting a quote last year we then had some other unforeseen issues arise that we needed the money for so put our plans on hold, now ready to move ahead we re contacted them a couple of weeks ago to ask for a requote and to say we were ready to go ahead. Since Nathan called us to say he would get this sorted, we have heard nothing, despite following up with emails, calls to the business and calling and texting Nathan directly. So odd considering it was thousands of pounds of business that we have now taken to their competitor who have been nothing short of amazing! We have been left feeling like our business is not good enough and totally ghosted. I would definitely NOT recommend this company!

I received no voice mail from this business and they would have known that from me chasing them for a quote and following up on my initial communication. We also never insisted on them honouring last year’s quote, we are reasonable people and appreciate costs increase. We have paid £1.3k more that they’re quote with the company we have since gone with. Our issue was always that every email and call chasing the quote was ignored and it’s pretty disgusting behaviour from what is meant to be a professional company.

We have had a discussion internally about this and can comment as follows; Nathan explained in the telephone call that the quote we gave (over 12 months ago), was only was valid for 30 days, and we would therefore need to re-quote your job.
We did have a look at honouring this price but it was not possible on this occasion, due to cost increases we have incurred.
A voicemail was left approximately 20 minutes after this phone call, so we can only assume you didn't receive it. Sorry we were unable to help on this occasion.
Arranged for Yorkshire windows to give…
Arranged for Yorkshire windows to give us a quote for our front bay window to be replaced. The rep turned up and measured the window and asked all the relevant questions of what we wanted, then put all this information into a tablet that was supposed to generate a quote. This took ages as, according to him, the size of our window wasn't programmed into the system he was using and he had to do it a different way. We got a quote and it was more than what we were willing to spend, he then seemed to go back to the 90's and came out with the line "what will it take to seal the deal" and said about the owner not normally allowing this but he can knock 10% off and we can sign up today. We said no, we are just collecting quotes at the moment. He then asked about the upstairs windows, which we had done 18 months ago ! Again no. I feel if this had been a vulnerable person he would have got them to sign up to all sorts of work.
What's wrong with coming in measuring up and sending a quote through e mail or post and leaving it up to the customer to make their mind up without all the pressure selling.
