Highly recommend

I am honest with my reviews and so far…

I am honest with my reviews and so far I can't complain, I've had 2 call outs one for my tumble dryer which was fixed within days and now I'm writing this reviews halfway through a second call out which they have offered me a replacement. Bee on the phone was a top lass who got the replacement sorted, now hopefully I get it soon.

Bosh washing machine.

The initial contact with Zest, my wfe was a bit frustrated with the agent she spoke to in the beginning, it took 20 minutes, but apart from that, there was no problems, and the washing machine was fixed.

Yess I thought he was brilliant

Yess I thought he was brilliant, very helpful , he also explained what had to the trouble dryer and also the fridge has well , and he sorted the problem out no problem , very friendly indeed .

Patrick called me the day before to…

Patrick called me the day before to discuss the problem with my oven, he checked if he had the part available and arranged a time to visit the next day. Patrick arrived on time and replaced the part needed and even put me a new light in my oven. I can highly recommend Patrick and will definitely use again.

This is not an insurance company like Domestic General

Very poor service overall. It has now been 11 days since my washing machine broke down, and I am still waiting for a replacement.

If you are currently a Domestic & General customer and are considering switching—especially if you are used to their level of service—this company may not meet your expectations. To arrange an engineer visit, I had to go through three separate processes, whereas with Domestic & General, a single phone call typically results in an appointment being booked immediately.

We own Neff and Miele appliances, and Domestic & General has always sent manufacturer-approved engineers who are highly knowledgeable. In this case, although the attending engineer was polite, friendly, and did his best, the overall process to get to that point was extremely difficult. It took four to five phone calls just to secure an appointment.

It is also important to note that this is not an insurance company like Domestic & General and is not regulated in the same way; decisions appear to be made at their discretion. Customer service has been particularly frustrating—on several occasions I waited up to 45 minutes on hold, only for the call to be disconnected, forcing me to start the process again. Communication is poor, and some departments are only contactable via email, with no option to speak to a representative directly.

Additionally, replacements are not provided on a like-for-like basis. My Neff washing machine, which originally cost approximately £850, was replaced with an offer for a Logic machine worth around £270. I was given the option to pay an additional £430 to receive a Neff replacement, which I agreed to and paid yesterday. However, I am still waiting for confirmation of a delivery date.

In summary, you get what you pay for. If you are accustomed to the efficiency and responsiveness of larger providers like Domestic & General and expect prompt service, this company may not be suitable. This has been my first experience with them, and unfortunately, it has been disappointing. I would strongly recommend reading the terms and conditions carefully to ensure their offering aligns with your expectations and needs

We take this kind of feedback very seriously. As a service plan rather than regulated insurance, we are dedicated to achieving fair outcomes on a case by case basis and we clearly haven't done that here.

We’ve used zest for quite a few years now. Never any queries about any problems. Usually a fast service. Sometimes it takes awhile to get through to customer services, but once you are there, everyone is lovely and professional.
Most recent problem was a smelly washing machine. Diagnosed as a faulty temperature reading device. Replaced. Warned that it might fail again in which case they will just replace the washing machine. Nice and easy! Thank you.
